Dave's is one spot you're not gonna wanna miss!! It's a burger shack in a gas station parking lot, and it's one of the best meals in the area. The people who work here are great at what they do and really nice. It's really hard to find a good patty melt on rye, and this is one of the best ones in all of LA/Orange. Seasoned fries are so good I eat half of them without even a thought. Places like this are rarer by the year, and Dave's is a gem. Support them often and tip well!

My go to fried burger spot. The best in town! Simple menu out of a simple burger shack. Fries, hotdogs, chips and canned sodas for a very fair price. Big burgers! Great flavor. Everything is made to order. Nothing sits around getting cold. The shack is small and sits in the corner of a gas station parking lot. They're are 3 picnic tables to sit and enjoy your food. So, bring the atmosphere yourself. Easy to do with the right friends or make new ones when you share a table. You'll be passing the good word forward once you try it.

Dave's Burgers is a hidden gem, tucked away in the corner of the Union gas station at the corner of Wardlow and Long Beach Blvd. The kitchen is a tiny outbuilding, and the dining area is a couple of picnic tables with umbrellas. Every burger and hot dog is cooked to order fresh and right in front of you. Real grilled onions, delicious fries. Nostalgia you can savor.

An icon of the area this is a classic California style road stand. Dave is long gone but the shack still exists in the corner of the gas station.
Both the food and service were good but not spectacular. If you want to spend $12 for a cheeseburger and fries you could go down the street to Polly’s or to the Bake an’ Broil and get a slice of pie thrown in too. But if you’re looking for the experience and don’t mind sitting outside amongst the fuel pumps then this the place for you.
