Dave's Family Mexican Restaurant

Most brunch Mexican restaurants I’ve tried tend to be on the bland side. Upon arrival here I had both hopes and doubts. I base my expectations for Mexican restaurants by their Guacamole and their spicy salsa. We ordered the guacamole and street corn to start. To all of our surprise the guacamole was very flavorful. The street corn dip was also flavorful and delicious. The green sauce was also delicious. We all wanted a portion to ourselves. We asked if they had hot sauce or spicy salsa and our waitress brought out a habanero salsa that was legitimately spicy. It had a really good kick to it, which made us very happy. I ordered the Mole Verde de Oaxaca (19 ingredients, toasted nuts, balanced savory sauce over grilled chicken, sesame seeds, pickled red onions, Mexican rice, garlicky whole beans, choice of corn or flour tortillas. For $16.95). The chicken was moist and tender. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. All in all the meal was a delightful surprise. I’m definitely coming back with family and friends.

Great seasoning on a simple scramble. We were hungry before shopping on 4th st. We sat down here on a Saturday at 11 and ordered brunch. I had the scramble with eggs, bacon, potatoes, veggies hold the cheese. YUM! My friend had huevos rancheros and loved it. Excellent coffee. I'll go back.

Absolutely excellent. Visited here from NYC and it’s far and away the best mole I’ve ever had. Great happy hour. We were all amazed at how good the food was.

Had lunch here with 6 other from work. Sat outside. Service and food were outstanding Chips and salsa (especially salsa) were fantastic. Avocado salsa is my favorite. Food was top-notch. Parking was nearby and convenient.

Came here to get a bfast burrito because Tito’s was closed, but theirs is now my favorite. It seemed a little pricey at first, but the portions were extremely generous and the flavor was perfect. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Tacos? Delicious.Burritos? Huge and flavorful.Menudo? Need it on Sunday morning.Flavor, price, and customer service are the best in the area. Highly recommend.

I recently moved to the area and have tried a bunch of places trying to find my new taco night spot. This is it. I have now tried all the tacos they offer and every single one was great! Favorites are Tingas De Pollo, Birria de Res, and Carnitas. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable.

Great food! That green sauce they serve with chips is heavenly! Very good , friendly service. The chicken tortilla soup rocked. Erica, our server was delightful. Tacos al pastor with charred pineapple were delicious. Fresh tamales are plentiful if your liking for a platter for your holiday meals. We will be back !

Tasty burritos and safe for take out with plexi barrier

Went across the street to Jerry's, Dave's wasn't my first choice. Ordered my food at Jerry's got home opened my breakfast bowl and was just a platter of sausage and egg and tomatoes...I said no tomatoes no bell peppers. So I returned to Jerry's got my money back. Dave's walked right in got my delicious breakfast burrito the cook was quick and the girl at the register was very attentive! Thank you Dave's for fixing my bad Jerry's experience!!

We've passed by multiple times wanting to try Dave's and that gut feeling was correct, their food is awesome! Great portion size, friendly workers. Going back again today because we enjoyed it so much.

Saw this new Mexican restaurant open up by my house, which was a Chinese restaurant before. I went in placed my order. The staff is super nice, very friendly.I ordered a chicken burrito and it was perfect!!The proportions were spot on, flavor was excellent. Ive been back twice since then. Unfortunately im a creature of habit once I like something I usually just order that so excited to try something new next visit. The prices were fair, and im sure they will add to the menu. So big thumbs up from me. Again the staff is very friendly!!!

Dave rocks. Ever Since he told me he was opening a restaurant across the street from the liquor store he also owns i was excited to try it, and since it’s been open I’ve been getting Togo orders weekly. The food is awesome and always fresh. The chicken torta is my goto, but i also enjoy the burritos.Service is fast and extremely friendly, it’s always clean in the kitchen and dining area, and they appear to be following all the health guidelines that help to slow the spread of COVID-19. I highly recommend Supporting this new restaurant especially with all the struggles a small business is facing currently
