And the family meal deal actually feeds my family so great job

Visiting from out of town. After 3 days of eating trendy L.A. food, I desperately needed this. Fantastic slice, amazing crust, friendly service, couldn’t have asked for more. Will be back.

Good food , good service , quiet place.

This is a cheesy kind of place, checked table cloths, order from counter, but the food is good and portions amazing.

Solid pizza joint with good pizza, good potato wedges

Good food, reasonable prices. I love the pizza.

They decided to close on Monday now. Ruined my lunch break after driving 10 minutes to get here only to find out they are closed. Never coming back

Haven't been here in years only because I moved away but had a hankering for a sandwich today and made my way over here. I didn't know what I wanted, and more than a few things sounded good, so I asked for a recommendation, and it hit the spot ! I got the Italian Roast Beef Hot Sandwich and a side garden salad. The sandwich was the best I've had in a loooong time. The bread was toasted and perfectly crispy on the edges. The meat was warm and juicy with generous portions. Lettuce was cool and crisp. It was comfort food that I didnt know I needed. The staff were all so friendly and kind. Restaurant was welcoming with some music playing overhead while other patrons enjoyed dinner. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

I been coming to this place for a couple of decades a few times a year, the pizza has always been good, today I order the works and dine in, however the pizza was somewhat cold I think they left seating on the counter, when it was not that busy it tasted raw, so disappointed, I lost my appetite for this place, I hate to say I am not coming back anytime soon

We picked up two pizzas and wings. The wings were refrigerator cold. I ordered a bbq chicken pizza and I ended up with a pizza with marinara sauce and chicken with no flavor. The cheese and chicken pizza were both barely warm. Maybe an off night but all around not great.

Chicken fettuccini Alfredo had a burnt taste to it like it was cooked in a burnt pot. Not edidle due to the smell and lack of seasoning.

Lasagna was worse. Tasted like watered down ravioli.

Very disappointed because there food has been delicious for the last 25-30 years I’ve been going.

Pastrami sandwich had very little meat in comparison to the large roll it was in, also the pastrami had a lot fat and was poor quality. Spend an extra dollar and go to Beach City Deli & BBQ down the street on Clark Ave. much better quality.

Definitely a great place to get some pizza.

Deli News has been around for as long as I could remember. I have fond memories of coming here with my family when I was a kid. I’m pretty sure it was my uncles favorite restaurant because coming here was almost always his idea.

Nowadays I come here for a nostalgic slice of pizza and the food is as good as ever.

Go for the Pizza!
I was walking behind Deli News and noticed these great smells coming from this open back door, so I just stopped…I followed my nose and was not disappointed. Great service, great pizza and great pizza crust!
