Excellent food and service! Try the curly steak fries!

We the sampler platter with fired pickles, fried green beens, sidewinder fries, a small BBQ meat. It was all delicious and could have been a meal in itself! However we still ordered two meals. Half BBQ chicken with coleslaw and Mac and cheese, and brisket of beaf with grilled green beans. We attempted to finish but could not. Definitely finger linking good Texas style BBQ. To top it off, a bamd plays om the weekend with tables and chairs out side to enjoy and dance. It was dinner and dance. A pleasant surprise and we are going back to try other food items!

The food here is always great, the fries are the best I've had in a long time, the salmon salad was absolutely divine and everything else we've tried so far has been cooked to perfection.

Other reviewers seem to love the food here so we gave it a try for my daughter's birthday. Pick up service was great - brought to my car - but the food... I was raised on southern cooking so I have expectations. The mac & cheese was bland with no cheddar flavor and on the dry side. The deviled eggs didn't seem to have any salt or mustard in the mix and were sitting on top of pickled onions which gave them an odd flavor. The green beans were overcooked (I mean ya that is southern style but there was no bacon to compensate LOL). The pulled pork, which should have been tender, juicy and flavorful, were like unsalted carnitas and a bit dry. The biggest disappointment was the collard greens - they were cooked just the right amount of tender but with so much red chili flakes that they were inedible--I mean, I like spicy food but these were more painful than the hottest Thai food I've ever had! So sadly we will not be back, but give them two stars for good service.

Got the rib combo. The meat is tough and too fatty. The potato salad is bland. Enjoyed the deviled eggs and green beans. Maybe it’s a bad day. I will not order again.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio. I ordered some ribs, they were incredible. My son had a pulled pork sandwich, he loved it. And my husband had a brisket sandwich. The patio is very welcoming and decorated nicely. The service was a little slow. However, it was so so worth the wait! Will definitely visit again.

Just left Derricks, patio open watched the Raiders playing Kansas.Im a first timer, bbq is my forte, I like to try other folks bbq.Derrick the ribs were really good i. An see the time spent well done, ladies you can eat ribs in front of your man and still be cute.The Hot bbq sauce is the best I ever tasted.I had the potato salad, with the sauté green beans OMG! The heavy black pepper set those babies off.I’m a heavy black pepper user I just Loved it.The Deviled eggs with strips of purple onions was very good.Last but least the desert peach cobbler send over the edge I have the ITIS”Go try it for self he will be closing Wednesday for din inn and patio but open for curb side pick up. And delivery upon appointment.Go And Support! Be safe, be kind to other wear a musk” ?

The food is not bad but what I received was not the best. I ordered tri tip and brisket. The portions were very small for the price and I didnt even get any BBQ sauce for the meat. It was dry. I believe the other reviewers who claim the food is excellent but my experience was not satisfying. Maybe I will give it another chance sometime in the future.
