District Wine offers a delightful experience with great wine selections, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food quality and taste have noticeably declined, which is disappointing considering the overall positive aspects of the establishment.

Cute little wine bar in downtown Long Beach. We made reservations and a table was set aside for us, which was a plus! We tried several wines that were not very good. We asked for some suggestions, and the waitress recommended some pretty good wine tastings. We did not eat any food, as the menu was very limited. Parking is difficult.... Due to being on the street and metered.

My parents were in town and we needed a chill place that was parent friendly. District wine was the perfect place! Made a reservation for 4pm, but I was mega late. Luckily, my parents were well taken care of and had already gotten themselves started with a bottle of Pinot (delicious). The food was good too! We started with brisket flatbread and also had the curry mac and cheese. My favorite out of the two was the flatbread. Im a sucker for great customer service, our waitress was kind, friendly, and added to the comfortable atmosphere! This was such a great place! It was a relaxed environment and Ill definitely meet my parents here again!

Love this place! It's perfect for date night or drinks with friends. Great selection of wine and delicious food. Cozy ambience and live music on occasion. Highly recommended!

Had an exquisite wine tasting experience! The variety of wines offered was impressive, each with unique flavors. The charcuterie board and the flatbread had a perfect balance of flavors and textures to pair with the wine. The cozy setting, soft lighting, and rustic decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server was attentive.

What a cozy neighborhood wine bar. We were invited to come out for a small event and what a great choice. Enjoyed a glass of sangria which wasn't too sweet with diced fresh fruit and the raspberry beret which was champagne with a scoop of raspberry sorbet was excellent!!! Sliders come as a pair with a side salad. Good choice of brisket and not saucy which I prefer. Lettuce cups with mushroom was interesting and something I've never had before. Good to have on days when you just want to abstain from meat. A good choice for vegans. Again, this is a cozy place to catch up with friends or even a small event. Service is good with a friendly staff. Recommend.

This is a very cool wine bar that we discovered thanks to Yelp several years ago. We work in Long Beach, but at the time we lived in the San Gabriel Valley. As such, this was a great place to have a quick appetiizer and glass of wine before commuting home. Our first visit was so amazing that we joined their wine club. Service is impeccable. Mabel is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on wines. Even though we don't come often, she always remembers us! Menu must haves = pea tapenade and Margherita flatbread. Best of all, the wine club gets you "every day drinkers" at a great price AND you cannot find them easily. They also have live music and other events which we have not enjoyed yet. Parking can be difficult but we have never had an issue.

I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience at District Wine through this review. This place is a true gem, offering a delightful ambiance that is both warm and charming. District Wine excels in providing an outstanding selection of wines, a beautiful space, delectable food, and impeccable service. Recently, I organized a semi-private event for my partner's birthday with 45 of our friends, and the entire planning process was remarkably easy. Angela, the owner, proved to be exceptionally friendly, responsive, and patiently answered all my queries throughout the planning phase. District Wine even allowed me to customize the menu for our event and went the extra mile by providing printed custom menus. We chose three wines, three beers, a cider, and the red sangria, which was an absolute must-try and became a favorite among our guests. Our food selection included a charcuterie and cheese platter, skewers, flatbreads, and more. Mabel, our main server, played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the evening. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and worked diligently to ensure the entire event ran smoothly. Mabel consistently checked on everyone, ensuring that our guests always had a drink in hand. We were particularly impressed with the generously sized wine glasses and the exceptionally generous pours. The wines were delightful, and Mabel's service went above and beyond our expectations. Whether for a casual drop-in, a private event, or drinks on the patio, I wholeheartedly recommend District Wine. It offers an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind experience that truly stands unrivaled in Long Beach.

This is a great wine bar !! They consistently deliver on their charcuterie (cheese plates , citrus marinated olives and roasted bar nuts are wonderful!) - wine selection is awesome !!!

Our favorite place to go in the neighborhood! The food, wine and atmosphere are great but the STAFF is why we make it our stop for date night and other special occasions :) EVERYONE is amazing and so friendly, warm and inviting.

Lovely staff, great live music, tasty bites and of course great wine selection. Moody and cozy inside and a great open outdoor seating area with heat lamps. Solid place to have a glass or bottle of a Red, White or Rose. No natural wines which is ok because there are plenty of other places for that.

Let's keep yelp real!!! This is a local gem and one of our favorite places to hang out at....maybe one of the best happy hour menus in the city. The interior is a dark and moody vibe (in the best ways) with nice outdoor seating available. Customer service is great, they make you feel welcomed. Their wine selection, cocktails, and food are great. We always end up spending way more than expected because it's all good. Our go to cocktails are the Long Beach Fizz, Proseco pop, and Sangria. I recommend the shishito peppers, district Margherita flat brea, and the crostini.

Fantastic ambiance, it's got a bit of a speakeasy-vibe. Delicious wines, good food, and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back!
