They served a fat cookie for a scone! I can’t believe it! The service was lax, we had to constantly ask for hot water, sugar etc. Servers were busy and not very attentive washing dishes and filling tea bags. The sugar bowl had dried tea stains from previous use- ugh gross! Seat cushions were worn out and dirty! The table felt sticky, and they were wiping down the tables with chemicals/bleach which we could smell while dining. The decor is lack luster and cheesy looking. Cheap fake flowers on the table and hanging throughout the place. Will not be coming back anytime soon. Too bad? Miss Elise’s Tea room!!

I Do Not recommend this dream come true tea party place in Long Beach ,Cal.i booked a hotel months in advance as well as the tea party, and the hosts at the tea party place Canceled last minute, while we were driving to Long Beach.they are very irresponsible .

WOW! What a wonderful experience! Five stars on every thing. Our party of four enjoyed a relaxing fun afternoon. The décor was fun and lake a fantasy, There was so much to look at including a secret door to the party room. We started off with each of us receiving our own pot of tea. I ordered the Black Carmel, I loved it which is saying a lot considering I am picky about my tea. The tea pots are a good size, I believe I filled my cup three times. Then for the food, first was the scone. Oh my goodness the scone... it was beyond delicious and a good size. Next was the salad with a wonderful dressing. And then came out the master piece, two multi tiered china serving trays filled with five or six different types of sandwiches and a large array of beautiful mini deserts. It was all so beautiful and delicious. There flowers and berries adding to the beauty of it. And so much food we all had some to take home. We had the owner Elena as our server she has done a fantastic job creating an experience that you should not miss. If you have never been here you are truly missing out. Everything about it was wonderful. I look forward to going here again.❤

The owner Elena was wonderful! She was so helpful and kind. She made tea time so special for my daughter and even went out of her way to make my girlfriends birthday a memorable one. A great value for the experience you get. Will 100% be back.

This place is absolutely adorable! I got the "high tea for two," portions were very nice! The tea was delicious, staff was generous!

I went there for the first time today and loved this place! It’s a very unique experience and all the food is delicious. The chocolate chai tea was my favorite but I have several more to try.

We went at 1pm on a Saturday with a group of four, every other table in the place was groups of 10 or more and it was unbelievably loud. Louder than your average restaurant - it felt more like a cafeteria. The server was decent and attentive but everything took really long, likely because she was waiting on 3 other huge tables at the same time. I think more servers and some way to dampen the noise would have made our experience better. Also, we got two of the high tea for two and there was only one of each dessert. It just felt a little silly to have to fight over/share one bite of dessert. The tea itself was really weak (although the butterscotch was tasty) and the refills are just refills of hot water, not tea.Really cute decorations here but I think this place is more meant for children's birthday parties. Overall it could have been worse and it was still a cute way to spend an afternoon if your expectations are low. I would give it 3.5 if there was a half star option.

Absolutely wonderful for my daughters birthday party! Elena and Quinn went above and beyond and my daughter and her friends had a magical time! I couldn't recommend this more

PARKING: There is parking in the back of the restaurant in the alley or 2-hour street parking. SERVICE: We had a 2:30pm reservation and they close at 4pm. There was only one lady working (I'm assuming the owner) who was SO NICE! It was only one other table and us, so it was a chill and relax mid-week tea service. AMBIANCE: The place is very pink, has a neon sign with a couch for photo ops & cozy tea vibes. FOOD: $57 HIGH TEA FOR TWO: this option comes out cheaper than if you were to get 2 individual high teas. Comes with scone, tiny cup of soup or salad, 6 tea sandwiches, a couple bite sized desserts, and 2 pots of tea. I also got a cupcake with a candle because we were celebrating my birthday! & the cutest tea headband. SANDWICHES: * Sesame crusted chicken salad: yummy! * Turkey & cranberries: good * Apricot & ham: good * Egg salad: classic * Strawberry cream cheese: semi-sweet * Salmon mousse: one was really dry, I think it was this sandwich but it didn't taste like salmon? OVERALL: Very cute and cozy, I loved most of the tea sandwiches, soup was yummy, but most of all the lady who owned/worked there was SO NICE!

First time going to a tea house. Honestly didn't know what to expect but it was nice place. Nothing WOW about it. 1 or 2 photo oppurtunies. I wish there was more. The menu is tea, sandwich bites, and soup. The ham sandwiches and Nutella were really good! Also the butterscotch tea.

There were five of us. We Sat at a table with a setee that has seen better days. It hurt my back and my GF. We had to use pillows to prop up. Would've preferred a table with sturdy chairs. Waitress was nice but not very efficient. Ambience was whimsical and fun; tea was ok; the fillings of the sandwiches very tasty but we all thought way too much bread; reasonably priced. Scones were delicious and fresh as was clotted cream; thought the desserts needed improvement. Might return.

Very cute tea room with tasty sandwich options. My favorite was the turkey cranberry sandwiches. Fun place to visit with friends or for a mother/daughter outing.

Great place to bring kids. Spent a lovely afternoon here with my toddler son and a friend. My son got his own teapot of pink lemonade which made his day. Scones and desserts are really good. Nice tea selection as well.

I had an ok tea time here. I went twice and the first time was great, food and service was outstanding. The atmosphere compared to the other tea houses like Chado tea room in torrance or Huntington tea house is a little less fancy, but their most expensive tea service is around $50 while the others are closer to $75 so whatever. They have a fantastic selection of teas and a good variety of veggie options.I had read online that they had a 90 minute limit but we went on a Friday morning and literally not another table was taken in the entire restaurant so I didn’t really think anything of it. It was a group of girlfriends and we were chatting away, and then our server came over and told us our 90 minute time was up and we needed to leave. I found it a little rude since clearly there wasn’t anyone waiting for our table, but we left. The next time we came they didn’t kick us out, but there was a birthday going on in the back room and there’s no really division of noise or anything as it’s just a divider between the private kids party and the rest of the restaurant. It took about an hour to get our sandwiches and I think the staff was stretched thin between the party and the patrons. But the teas were good and the sandwiches were standard. All and all an alright time, got to dress up with my family and girlfriends and have a chill time. I’d just ask why the 90 minute limit when both times I went the restaurant had no more than 2 out of 10 tables filled.Vegetarian options: Good selection of about 5 veggie sandwiches both savory and sweet. Off the top of my head there were specifically egg salad, PB&J, hummus and cucumber, cucumber and cream cheese and Nutella and strawberry
