Such a cute spot and the BYOBagel is fantastic. It's quiet, quaint, and a perfect spot to grab breakfast and coffee. Definitely recommend.

This place is my new addiction!!! The ambiance is peaceful, when you walk in you are greeted by a warm cozy home feeling, there is awesome art on the walls and you are greeted by the smiles of Dom, Jen and the rest of the crew. Hey Dom and Jen!!!! But Dom and the in house made breads have got me addicted.. There is one bread is like heaven, I mean you take a bite and the bread just melts in your mouth and then there is the chocolate chips and bananas. Ohhhh my lord!!!! I can just taste it as I write this review. The warmth of the bread and the flavors remind me of when I was a child and I would eat pop rocks, I couldn't wait for the POP in my mouth. Well this bread is just like that... AND IT IS VEGAN!!! let me say that again it is VEGAN.... But it don't taste vegan. Dom pretty please with a bow on top make double batches. If you order ask for the Chocolate chip banana cake....

Stopped by for the first time today and got 3 cookies (.85 cents for one, $2 for three!) and an iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup. Cookies were good, nothing too special. I'm picky with my matcha but this one was definitely in my top 5 favorites. Wasn't too sweet nor too bitter. Definitely have to go back to try one of their lunch menu items!

The food is just not great. I have gotten their bagel sandwich and breakfast burritos and they both made me sick. Not appetizing. The chai coffee was very mediocre. The atmosphere is nice. They have books and outdoor seating. The service is decent, the staff are friendly but seem to not notice when I walk in for a minute they’re usually in the back doing something else.

Good food from a cute little cafe! The service was a bit slow, which is understandable since it's a one woman show, but it was made thoughtfully and they were so nice about it! Definitely a cute place to relax and have a bite. The salmon was good and so was the breakfast sandwich!

I ordered the vegan bagel for breakfast. Everything was tasty. The worker greeted me (and everyone else) with a loud good morning!! Good food, good portions...I'd come again.

Absolutely delicious food. Only one person working when I was in and I didn't know it. The presentation of the food was amazing and impressive to just be one person taking orders, making my coffee and my food and running the food. Highly recommend.

I was definitely hesitant after reading the reviews but I had a friend really push me to try it, I'm glad I did. I ordered the banana mocha and a breakfast bagel. Both were made within 5 minutes and I'd say taste pretty good. The person at the register was very friendly and extremely helpful to the other customers who had a lot of questions. Inside there are 7 tables that can seat 2-3 people each, with even more seating outside should you bring your animals. The security person was charging their phone inside as a review had mentioned, but it's out of the way of any tables and it was slow enough that it wouldn't bother anybody. There's also a non-coffee fridge inside along with snacks to buy which is pretty awesome for a coffee shop and for those who are not fond of coffee. Overall would come back again!

My wife and I looking around as we decided to support local businesses by ordering food to get delivered or going to eat in person at locations,Friday February 9th we went to East Village Cafe to try their food we walked in 1 hour before the restaurant closed at first we weren't welcomed at all their was a young lady working that shift she looked at us and ran away while we had issues placing the order trough the screen register/machine Then we walked into another lady at register and she was nice and helped us placing our orders. We were also having trouble finding clean tables to seat since all the tables were dirty and not cleaned up at all. First two tables next to the register were used and had note books and stuff of their employees, then we moved to one tiny table by the door and this security person left his phone to be charged there and every 5 minutes he comes in to check his phone right next to our table and have to squeeze ourselves to give him space to get in and out,we felt uncomfortable the whole time we've been there. We don't like to leave bad reviews but once we see similar situations we have to. I hope this review helps the to solve and improve the customer service at this location. Few minutes later that young lady delivered our food to us with bad mode and attitude "if you need utensils they're over there " Then while we were eating our food she started pulling chairs and tables next to us and extremely loud and it was her sign to tell us to hurry up and leave. As you can see in photo below there was another costumer who was also enjoying her lunch but bunch of chairs were placed in front of her table were she was seating, After that she came to us to let us know that they're closing soon which is 15 minutes before closing time

People are very nice but I'm sorry this is awful food lol super expensive for a turkey melt that taste like a teenager made at home. There bagels also taste like Sarah Lee from Vons and there was so much mayo I had to throw it away.... Mind you I love mayo. Also a simple dirty chai with regular milk and the size of a tall from Starbucks was little less than $8. I don't understand how this place has lasted
