I am a FedEx driver and I wanted to try a different taco place in the area. I finished making my order and asked for a restroom to wash my hands or use the restroom after I’ve been driving all day. They refused and i was stuck dirty and uncomfortable while I ate my food. Will not return.

So good! We will def be back. Especially loved the ceviche and al pastor burrito. I highly recommend if you're in the area.

This place is small but mighty. All the food is fresh and delicious.

Best shrimp tacos I've ever had.

Little to no parking, however, their food is so authentic and bomb! My fave are their delicious tacos gobernador, tacos al vapor(street tacos style). A must try!

So good ! Get the quesabirria ! With the habanero sauce and Horchata, along with the asada! Its hit in there and limited seating but for the food its worth it, not a big fan of the 2$ refill charge tho , still some good food

This is a place I wanted to like. Unfortunately the lengua in my burrito was chewy and fatty. I order lengua from many places and this is the worst I've ever had. The burrito was mostly tortilla as well. The crispy tacos were so greasy that they were soggy by the time they were delivered. We couldn't finish them. The shrimp was like bubblegum. The birria had no flavor. The curtido was all onions. The salsas were the best part. I won't be ordering from here again.

"This tiny spot is not high on my list of recommendations for a multitude of reasons. First of all, the place is really tiny and parking is hard as it is street only on one of the busiest areas in Long Beach. Their portions are very stingy, the tacos are good but very small and sometimes they're getting orders out so fast that the quality decreases and the food comes out sloppy and there's just no quality control. One of my most recent experiences demonstrated dishonest business practices: A friend and I stopped by as it was on the way home from work and we noticed their taco Tuesday special, $1 tacos. That sounded great and we have heard everyone really likes the tacos here. When we inquired they said the tacos were regular price because their register wasn't working. We were very hungry so we accepted their lie, and surely when they charged us the register worked just fine. It could have been as easy as honoring their special and ringing it up on their register as anything that is $1 or so, I know how restaurants and businesses and registers work --it's not a hard thing to accommodate at all. So they were roughly $2 a taco and the meat in all tacos combined was very sad. I watched her bite her thumbs as she ate her tiny tacos, and she unhappily stated she would never stop there again. I stopped by a few more times and tried their burritos. The burritos are just OK, the first time the contents of the burrito were so hot that I had to open it up and let it cool after burning the roof of my mouth and esophagus. That wasn't fun. I figured out that the reason for that is the oil or grease was very hot and they used too much of it to cook a small amount of meat, then threw it into the tortilla... ...So the quality is inconsistent and that's enough for me to take note and stay away from this spot." -Maddy M, Yelp reviewer. I completely disagree with this yelp review! I live near this spot and frequently get their food. The burritos are the best on the menu! The tacos are small but that is how traditional tacos are made. The Agua Frescas here are very good. I do have some things that make this review 4 stars and not 5. Once the lady forgot to give me one of my plates of tacos. Luckily I still had the receipt and the guy with the baseball cap helped me out and gave me my missing food! Another time with my usual order of Lengua Burrito, I ordered an horchata along with it as I have many times before. This time the Horchata tasted sour and spoiled but I didn't want to go back and refute this. This makes me consider getting Horchatas now. I do like on how many condiments/ extras they offer you with your order, completely free! If this place had a better location, I bet it would do so much better!

Great food, I don't like the fact they round up to the nearest dollar on your receipt if you're using a card. There's no sign saying that they charge extra for using your card.

Yeah, Let's Eat This ..

Our third of 5 stops on our Taco Tour, El Bukanas has a unique twist on their seasoning, if you're looking for tacos with just enough kick to really bring out the flavors of the meat, you'll wanna stop by here. Subtle differences go a long way on flavor, and at El Bukanas, their tacos are sure to satisfy! Long Beach has a lot to boast about when it comes to the variety of good food to find, El Bukanas is definitely high up on the list of must-try locations!

This place is the definition of a hole in the wall. Quite literally they have a small window you order at (during covid) and the inside is so dark you'd think they were closed. I called ahead and my food was ready when I got there ten minutes later. I got a burrito mojado with birria and it was delicious. Quite the experience. The burrito is covered in cheese and then smothered in a tasty salsa. I would have liked it with a dollop of crema, but that's ok. The meat was tender and delicious. Be careful with the yellow salsa - it's habanero! The agua de jamaica was good and not too sweet. I'll be back to try their other offerings (:
