We were looking for great Birria tacos so. I looked online for the best Tacos in Long Beach. El Sauz restaurant on Anaheim came up and we ordered two plates containing 3 Birria tacos with the trimmings on the side. Took it home and the first thing I did was taste the meat……Delicious!!!! Moist and flavorful, then I added the cilantro and onions, dipping it into the consume, now I was in Heaven!!! We will definitely be back as the waitress told me when I arrived” You won’t be disappointed “ which we weren’t.

I ate from the inside. But that after dark side window hit different. I love this spot. Them scrimp quesa-dilla's with them grilled onions and pepper and chesse. I have driven from the Jay's to eat that little piece of heaven

I ordered the chicken quesadillas with rice and beans plate. This plate was delicious. The chicken was soft and tender.I also ordered tacos and they were oily and the meat had too much fat for me so I would not buy tacos for myself here. The service is excellent . The inside is very traditional and makes you feel like you are in Mexico. There is very limited parking.

Horrible food quality the burrito meat tasted like it was from the night before. I could not even finish 1/4 of the burrito and my girlfriend neither . We left disappointed and my girlfriend had to go to the hospital because she got sick I DO NOT recommend eating here

Long Beach El Sauz restaurant 😋, I realized two way inside diner or outside order food table sat or bring food go home.i looking where inside,didn't notice door open,waitress tell me come fellow her table sat give book menu,waitress very sweet, give tortilla chip with salsa, very quiet, we ordered come with bean,rice,corn tortilla awesome huge fatijas chicken very hot pan,we enjoyed dinner perfect 👌 👍 🥰 💞 😋 😀 👌

Me and my husband went to this restaurant to have a nice dinner? And the food was horrible. The abongadas soup was horrible, no season in it. And it didn't taste like it was ground beef. the meat balls were tangyI don't know what type of meat it was. It tastes more like lamb or something. I don't know what that was we had chicken enchiladas also they were awful the chicken was nasty tasted old and left a bad taste in our mouth, i wanted to ask the will never go back there again
