I'm SO bummed that this location closed! I had so many great memories here. When my girlfriend and I were living an hour away from each other, this was our halfway point. Happy hour and a movie became our weekly routine. We'd ordered 2 or 3 appetizers each and a couple margaritas for a filling, tasty, boozy, and affordable dinner. We always went straight to the bar area and never had to wait for a table. The staff were all so friendly, too.

So far, so good! I usually find myself at the one at Ventura Blvd which is very awesome. Let's say that this one in Long Beach was not so shabby at all. Truly host was superb asked for Ponce and Leida took care of everything delightfully. I ordered shrimp rolls with bacon and taquitos (from the bar menu appetizers) and a fajita plate with chicken and steak which was delicious!

5 tables, 10 guests, and 5 waitresses but no sense of Customer Service. Came in at 2:20pm, ordered our food at 2:30pm and didnt come until 3:00pm. One waitress brings out flan, "Flan with whip cream?" Response, "Thats not ours". Waitress rolls her eyes and says 'really'? Wtf!?! Like we dont know what we ordered. So irritated.

We had a great time and a very nice meal, the fajitas were big enough to share with my husband and they were so good, and my brother got one of the happy hour specials, we were so satisfied and happy and our waitress was great! Thank you!
My girlfriend and I stopped by for happy hour before our movie and we're glad we did! Our server Stephanie was incredibly personable and made our happy hour more than your typical happy hour session. We never had to look for her and when she would come by, she always made sure we had fresh chips and asked if our drinks were made perfectly. I've never gone to a happy hour where the service was just that of a 5 star restaurant. Stephanie is making changes to how servers interact with their customers and that's sincerely appreciated.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. We went for a Birthday and Rebecca the waitress was really great. She has excellent customer service skills. We had the fajitas family meal and it was really good two fed 13 people and people took home lunch for the next day. The price is right. Will definitely return.

First ask for Karen, she is one of the best servers at this place. Very patient and understanding when it comes to your order. My family and I came on 5 de Mayo and my sister in law forgot her ID. We were waiting for a while, then she took our table. Then she cleared all of the menu for us and worked with us. Her manager Liz came and helped us out. The food hit the spot but our server is what made our experience the best we could of had. The mesquite and the sopes are the best things to get on the happy hr menu.

Great food, Great Service. We love Coming to the Long Beach Location. I know this is not authentic Mexican food but compare to other Mexicans restaurants this one is really tasty. I really recommend this place, Make sure you try the Guacamole & Margaritas they are the Best.

Hands down my favorite spot to go to for taco Tuesday ! Porfirio at the bar is so sweet and gives incredible service ever time I come to visit. And the chef David is also someone who is so nice and they really do care how they treat their customers. Maria on taco Tuesday's also is so sweet and helps each customer with such patience and care. Highly recommend checking out this spot.
