Best Mexican food in LB by far! Friendly staff and excellent food! We love this place!

I love their food! They have the BEST flavors and the soups, salads, and all of the dishes are my favorites! The service is friendly and there are long-time employees because it is family owned. They also own K Pasta in the same center and also delicious!

Salsa! Chunky salsa! Delicious salsa! My "taste bud" and I finally stopped by Enrique's to see what all the hype is about, and we immediately knew from the first bite of complimentary chips and salsa that everything else would be excellent as well. Combo #6, Trio de Taquitos, hit the spot with one each of chicken, beef, and potato taquitos. Treat yourself to ordering the guacamole as well; you won't be disappointed. My partner had Combo #13, two potato taquitos with a chile relleno, and this was a perfect dish for those that had to skip meat on Fridays for a spell. Service was friendly from the start, and all our requests were met in a timely manner. This is a cozy, family-run establishment where you will be greeted and escorted out with a smile. Don't forget to say bye to the cocineros! Oh, and make sure to check out the (spotless) restroom. The, uh, mirror situation is quite interesting ... yee-haw!

We haven't been here in about three years or so, and decided to hit it up for lunch with a sister in law. Three of us dined today. Our table seemed to be not cleaned off very well, and the booth was dirty. The fabric was dirty and stained. Server was quick and good. Did a great job. The food was a huge amount, and hot. And...that's about all I can say good about the food. Rice was mushy and very odd tasting. The beef in the hard tacos was dry and old tasting. Everything else on the plate was just blah. We had frozen margaritas, and we were told they were made with wine, but we got them anyway. Tasteless, salty ice water is more like it. Just nasty. We were given one nice large cloth napkin, but the table wasn't very clean, so we had to set our silverware on it. A paper placemat, or some paper napkins on the table would be a nice touch. All in all, for the price...it was a real loser. We won't be going back. Just way too much going wrong, in a place we really used to like.

Some of the best Mexican food I have had in southern California. The salsa was excellent and the chile verde was good. The relleno was delicious too!

3/27/24 It's been a long while since I been to this restaurant but I am probably not going back simply because the menu prices are so high now for a simple dinner. I got the carnitas although I really shouldn't have since I rarely eat pork. I saved half of it for the next day which was a mistake because it tasted so nasty as a leftover, and the chips were totally nasty as well as a leftover. The food here is not worth the higher prices.

Food had ok flavor. Ordered fajitas and never had fajita soup before. Yup. Fajitas were swimming in soup/sauce. Not my thing. Tortillas are store bought. Ugh. 2 stars for effort. 1st and last visit.

Delicious food in generous portions served with charm and grace. We had lunch here today and enjoyed the music and comfortable booth too. We couldn't finish our entrees so they provided take home boxes as well as "to go" cups for our sodas. We still ordered dessert though! The crème brûlée was delicious ! The service was attentive and charming from start to finish. We lingered over dessert but they never tried to hurry us out. There are many more items on the menu we'd like to try. We will be back ! Plenty of parking spaces available. Additional note: I was so glad that the hostess who greeted us at the door had just turned away a previous party who wanted to bring several dogs (they were not service dogs) into the restaurant. She noted that they do not allow animals into the restaurant. The people seemed to be feel entitled to bring their dogs in, which was surprising considering it's a nice enclosed restaurant and not an open patio kind of space.

Really good food nice size portions, great ambience, and good service you can tell it's good because there's always a crowd and a line but it's worth the wait

This is undoubtedly the best Mexican restaurant you'll ever attend. First of all it's family owned. I often see the owner working in the back, they have a lot of respect for their restaurant they service all with cloth napkins, and a smile from every waiter always beautiful, Mexican music playing And I haven't even mentioned the food. I've been going here for over five years never a bad meal. They have hidden menus like their fajitas but their pork shank is unique delicious and always good. There isn't anything on the menu I don't love.
