Food great as always been co.ing.for years even when the name was changed to glad it went back to Dave's food great as always our server who attended us first was great so nice and patient he was a young man but I came across money transfer issues to my bank account which has us there for a.bit until I was able to take care of that he was very patient with us but when it came to the shift change the other woman who took over I did not like her attitude she was young blond ladies with a head band and tattoos this was on March / 31 / 2025 Around 3pm once paid she asked if we had a congoined account with my spouse made me feel like she threw a cheap shot she did not know if we were celebrating something and or whatever the case I don't think it was her business if we did or not. We paid and left but on situation like this people like her is what gives guest like myself who have been coming for years to ever return again.

I have been ordering corn bread to go from two different locations and I will not be doing that again in Long Beach due to being over charged. When I questioned them about the charge I was told that in bulk the charge is less however in total I ordered 14 pieces of corn bread and asked if two of them could be separate so my husband and I could have a couple for the trip home. They were given to us all together not separately as requested which would not be an issue but we where also charged a packaging fee which is new to me. I have attached the receipt you do the math very disappointed

I was there for lunch around 12pm or so. The food that I ordered was super salty ( it was Dave’s signature sandwich meal). Also the presentation of the food is just throwing things on the plate. The lemonade drink is kinda ok.

Don’t see zero stars if not that would be my honest rating. Showed up around 1215pm; took about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front and greet us finally; only to be told it was a 15 minute wait while plenty of tables were empty and plenty of staff walking around; 45 minutes from the time we arrived and still nothing. Terrible service; had to take my business elsewhere
Specifically asked if the meat came sauced because I don’t want sugar on my meat. Was assured it was not. Yep, got home and there was a crappy sauce over everything.

We came in and thr manager wrote down our names and told us we'd be seated in just a few minutes. 10 minutes later another couple walks in and are greeted by the hostess. She seats them immediately. We had to go stand at the host stand for another 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. They seat us in a place where the wind blasts through the openings in the door. It was as if there were a gust of wind blowing around our table constantly. The poor service just continues from there while we watch everyone else get infinitely better treatment around the restaurant. We have never been here before. We will never go back.
