Everything was fantastic from the service to the food to the ambiance. Great place to go for some authentic Turkish dishes served by Turks themselves.

Definitely the best lamb I've ever had, and their pepper sauce was delicious! Be sure to try an apple or pomegranate tea and stop by their desert shop next door!

Our original plans were taking us to another place a couple doors down but instead decided to try this place. So glad we did! The staff was extremely friendly, explained everything to us and had great customer service. The food was delicious, the lamb was tender and the garlic sauce and chili sauce paired well with everything. They gave us a complimentary dessert for my sister’s-in-law birthday and it was super tasty. If you’re looking for Mediterranean food, come here instead of the more popular place down the street. You definitely won’t regret it.

Wonderful experience. It's my first time trying Turkish cuisine and it's fantastic. Staff were friendly, was checking couple of times if we needed something and if we are doing okay. Their hospitality was incredible. Gave us recommendations on food, offered us hot Turkish tea at the end as a complimentary surprise.

My friend and I visited a restaurant on 2nd Street and ordered Adana kebab and lamb chops. It looked great, but once we got home we started feeling weird and not well because the meat wasn’t fresh. Fake reviews or paid reviews not make any restaurant top of the list.

I went to Galata Restaurant with three of my friends and had such an amazing experience. We ordered the mixed kebab plate, köfte plate, and Adana kebab plate — everything was so delicious and perfectly cooked. After our meal, they brought us pomegranate tea, and honestly, it was the best tea I’ve ever had in my life.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. I’ve literally never been to a restaurant with better customer service. Everyone was so kind and polite, and one of the workers in particular was just the sweetest — I wish I had asked for his name! He was so attentive and always asked how we were doing. Super friendly people.

We all left with full stomachs, big smiles, and just such a great feeling. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality made it feel like I was back in Istanbul. (One thing I will add is that the prices were quite high, but the atmosphere can slightly make up for it!) Can’t wait to go back here for more!
