Best Meal of Our Long Beach Visit!
George’s Greek Cafe delivered top-tier food and service from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive—our drinks never went empty, and the service made the entire experience even better.
We started with the combo appetizer, which was perfect for sharing and full of fresh, bold flavors. The Greek wine was both unique and delicious. For mains, the gyro and the Greek chicken sandwich were bursting with flavor—absolutely delicious!
Dessert was the perfect finish: the mini baklava, creamy ice cream, and warm Galaktoboureko with its flaky pastry and custard filling were out of this world. This was hands-down the best place we ate at during our Long Beach visit. Highly recommend!
It was pretty good but not the best Greek food I’ve tried. The falafel and halloumi were yummy, but the pitas were dry and the tzatziki just ok. Service was great!
Great food. Family run business. Been a customer here for years.
Simon was a GEM! 10/10 service. Food was great and bottles of wine were half off on Mondays! We will definitely be back
We went about 3pm and it was a perfect day to sit on the outside portion! We got Sara as our server and she is so sweet! Was super attentive and personable! I’ve been craving Greek food and this hit the spot! Everything was great! Would 100% eat here again!
If you like Greek food this is the right place in Long Beach
Amazing place and incredible service! Go there and just get anything it will be delicious. You won't regret it. Best Greek food I've had in LA so far.
This is the kind of place I'd return to again and again. Great food & service. This is the spot you will want to sit down, enjoy a meal and visit with a good friend.
Our waiter, Daniel, recommended the Skordalia dip to go with our Spanokopita. I never would have tried this dip, but wow! It was so good and now I'll be on the hunt to find a recipe so I can try to make it at home. So, thank you Daniel (and George's) for a lovely meal.
George's Greek Café is a nice spot with good Greek food, especially the lamb chops, which are always solid. The portions are generous, and it’s a great place for family-style dining. That said, the food can be just okay for the price, so it’s not always worth it unless you're nearby and in the mood for something casual.
