We dined in on Thursday 12/4/25. We were so excited because we love soul food. When our drinks came out my drink had a big fake eye lash on the bottom of my drink, not inside, outside the glass. The cashier was nice and courteous which is the reason I gave 4 stars for service. she made me another one which I wasn't too comfortable with. She could tell so I opted for a beer instead. My daughters noodles were ok, my shrimp Po Boy was not the best overcooked hard shrimp and just bland. My husband got the fried chicken which looked old and I understand it's dark meat but it was dark gray and it was so bland he had to add alot of Louisiana hot sauce to give it some flavor. Well my hubby's stomach immediately was feeling uncomfortable and he thought he was just really full. His stomach hasn't been the same since then. He has been running fevers so I basically made him go to the doctor today to get checked. He said it could be a bad case of food poisoning and had to start him on antibiotics and had labs. I hope my husband feels better soon. Please don't do this to people. It suck's, and that was a wasteful $100 and something bill.

After our Uber Eats order was stolen from this location (whoever does that, I feel sorry for you). HOWEVER- The staff here was on it. Immediately understanding the situation and re-firing our food instantly. Working in service is tough and I have nothing but respect for these hard working ladies who handled the situation with professionalism and grace. Thanks Lena and Andrea!

I have been looking forward to eating here for a long time. I ordered the fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and added coleslaw for a total of $28.00. The chicken was extremely dry, the crust was overdone and lacked in flavor. I have never had mashed potatoes that won’t break apart because they were so dry and overcooked. The Mac n cheese, although dry, was delish. The coleslaw could’ve been great, but it was also very dry. On the upside with no notes: The customer service was outstanding. Overall disappointing, truthfully the only thing I ate was the mac & cheese, everything else got tossed.

We got the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, chicken tenders, Gretchen jambalaya Cajun fries, sweet potato fries, lemon Seabass, collard greens and Cajun rice. The servings were plentiful. It was all excellent so juicy and tender full of flavor. The sauces were bangin. It was all good. It was all delicious. We ate so much!!!

I tried the Long Beach location because I’ve always had good food from the Anaheim restaurant. The food at this place is nowhere near as tasty as the food from the Anaheim location. I had the fried chicken (bland), greens (bland), mac and cheese (just sad), and yams (starchy). The same meal I order every time. Even a ton of hot sauce couldn’t save this meal. Soul food/southern food should have flavor! It’s telling when you don’t smell anything cooking when you walk in. It’s a shame because I really want to support Georgia’s. After reading other reviews, this seems on par for this location. I’ll stick to the Anaheim location.

I decided to try this restaurant in Long Beach because I had a great experience in the Anaheim location. The food at this location was nowhere close to the Anaheim location. I was very disappointed. I'm a gumbo fanatic I took two bites and I didn't take another. The soft drinks were flat both the cherry coke and regular coke. The fried chicken didn't impress and the cabbage was bland. I did like the red beans and rice. I usually don't do surveys but felt the need to say something. Go to Anaheim location or Fixins by Crypto or Harold and Belles in LA.
