This is not the first time I’ve been to this place, but I will say every time I come to this restaurant I am greeted with great service and great food. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a great meal it’s a family oriented location, and great service. I just love this place.

My family visited on a Sunday morning. There were about 9 adults and 7 kids. The staff was very helpful in seating us at their patio and offered to take our orders so we didn't have to go inside with all of the kids. We had Gumbo, fried chicken and waffles, and fish. Everything was amazing and came quickly. The all-you-can-drink mimosas are the cherry on top. I would honestly come back just for the corn bread. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. They did not disappoint. We will be back very soon.
The jambalaya was disappointing. I eat here often and am satisfied with all the food. However, I wanted to try jambalaya. The chicken tastes like rubber so I stopped eating it. Was afraid it was fake food. The sauce was thick like a paste from a can. I ate the shrimp and sausage cuz for $21, I had to eat it. Please do not order this dish. Everything else is amazing!

Placed an order online got my food home and no cornbread. Po Boy was delicious, greens delicious. Couldn't eat the bowl with out the corn bread.Decided to give another try the next day and ordered the shrimp w/frys, more greens and finally got my cornbread

I came here to try their rib eye and NY steaks they had. While most of their selection of sides is southern, I can only feel there's a difference with food made from the south and southern food made in California, which is what I feel about this restaurant. The hosts/cashiers were really friendly and you pay for everything at the start, rather at towards the end when you are done eating. The dining is pretty homey, if not modern at the same time.

The set up is more of an elevated fast casual restaurant than a more “traditional” soul food restaurant. You order and pay at the counter and then they’ll deliver your food. I got the catfish plates with mac and cheese, greens, and an extra side of black eyed peas. Everything was excellent. Whatever they did with the butter for the cornbread, I loved. I think it may be honey butter?Would definitely recommend

Read some so-so reviews about this place, so wasn't sure if I'd like it, but ended up loving it! Had lunch today with a friend. She ordered the catfish and grits and I had the shrimp and grits. I'm a big fan of grits and these did not disappoint. My friend enjoyed her dish and my shrimp and grits were flavorful and spiced well, served piping hot along with a side of cornbread and honey butter. Service was also very friendly, so all in all a great first experience here. I'll definitely be returning to try some different dishes, although it will be hard not to order the shrimp and grits again!
