We used to come here over the years and always liked it, at least the view hasn't changed and is great. Now we went after the Indy Car Grand Prix and it was quite disappointing. While the prices have doubled, the food quality has halved. My daughter didn't want to eat much of the lobster Mac and Cheese which was cheaply made, the fish chowder was awful and the swordfish and Mahi Mahi just boring and mediocre. Oh, and the barkeeper tried to make a black and tan 3 times without success (picture). I hope that they'll get this turned around again!

Had two amazing servers! Mark kicked it off with our appetizers before Valentine took us through dinner, both were amazing and had a great sense of humor too! Had the chocolate cake for desert, so good!

Unfortunately, the fish and chips were over greasy. I was sick for 2 days. The lobster devil eggs were mediocre. We donated the food to some homeless people . I am sure they enjoyed it.Parking: You have to valet.

The bread and appetizers were great, but the main course was just OK. The chocolate cake for dessert was huge but very dry, totally stale. Service was good, view of the water really nice. The acoustics - awful, could barely carry a conversation. Overall, it’s ok, but not a great experience.

Food was average at best. Choclate cake was dry and old. Acoustic is bad, hard to carry conversation.

Had supper earlier this week. We came specifically for the fantastic Boston clam chowder. It’s never a letdown. Our server, Alex, was friendly and attentive! A great experience!

During our recent visit, we encountered concerning behavior from our server. When my partner inquired about the mahi-mahi fish, the server insisted on the swordfish, saying it tasted like chicken, which was off-putting. Additionally, our order was rushed, and we were not given enough time to review the menu or informed about the available sides. When we requested to speak to the manager, we were told they were busy and were directed to another staff member who was equally unhelpful. This experience left us feeling disrespected and unheard, and we were unable to address our concerns with higher management.

Waitress tried to be attentive but was sat too many tables at once, and all of them seemed to be celebrating something (Gladstones supplied cotton candy).

So happy to find Gladstones in Long Beach. We love the one in Malibu. The service was great and such a beautiful view of the water. They bring you fresh sourdough bread and butter to start. If you love Ahi, order the Ahi Poke Nachos. It is a huge portion and so good! The Lobster Mac & Cheese is a 10/10. My only regret is that I don’t live closer so I can go often.

This is a better location than the original on sunset because it has better parking and access. The food is as good and the location is very romantic. There is lots of places to walk after your meal. Fish is fresh and the chowder sticks to your bones.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options availableParking: You can validate your ticket for a better rateKid-friendliness: Kids must be very well behaved for you to enjoy your meal.Wheelchair accessibility: This facility is wheelchair accessible

Gladstone’s is a waterfront restaurant in a nice location. Even if you sit inside, there are windows everywhere so you will still have a nice view of the water while dining. They accept reservations. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful as it was our first time eating here. The bread and butter they brought out was great. I ordered the lobster tail and the Jamaican jerk salmon. Both were cooked perfectly, especially the salmon. The only reason I rate the salmon 4/5 is because it didn’t come with an actual jerk sauce- it was a dry spice rub. Delicious nonetheless, but I ended up asking for a side of jerk sauce that they had for the wings- which then took the dish to the next level. There is bar seating inside. Parking has valet option or a paid parking lot. Overall, it was a great meal and a nice atmosphere.

Server was very nice and the order was accurate, but service was slow despite the restaurant being at maybe 25% capacity (maybe someone called in sick?).More importantly, our food was just meh. Fries tasted old. Salsa tasted like it came out of a jar. Clam chowder was bland (sacrilege for a California "seafood" restaurant to have weak clam chowder).
