My family loves this place. My wife and I tend to get the chicken fried steak and my 5-year-old gets pancakes. They're banana. Jam is amazing when they have it but it's always a great place to go for family, especially breakfast.

While on my way to the cemetery just north of here on Cherry, I decided to have my lunch here. These older, independently owned type burger joints usually serve up good grilled burgers and fries.
I was happy that they had really good burgers here. I got their pastrami burger with the optional fried zucchini side and an ice tea to wash it down.
Service was good, restaurant was clean, and organized.

i like the food at this place. one complaint and tbis seems to be the case MOST everywhere. french fries i like mine well done or id rather have none. i ordered em well done n they came kinda soggy in my opinion so what do u do? me i keep my tip...all n of it because they wont comp your meal anymore so the alternative is bring n u crispy ones but by then my burger is already eatin or they wut take my whole plate n bring it back not only after the fries are crispy but my date has then finished eating so we dont eat together. both alternatives are unacceptable solutions to an ongoing pet peeve

Was sat down for 30 minutes no one ever came to take our order and when they sent someone they went to the take the table behind us that had just sat down 5 minutes ago. Horrible services.

I recently enjoyed a hearty breakfast here, ordering the Country Fried Steak and Eggs with biscuits and gravy. The portion was very generous, and the meal was delicious overall—the steak was perfectly cooked, and the biscuits were smothered in a rich, savory gravy. The only part of the meal that fell short was the homestyle potatoes; they were cut into large chunks and were unfortunately quite bland. However, the experience itself was fantastic. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring my coffee cup was never empty. Overall, this is a wonderful spot. With great food, exceptional service, a welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices, I'll definitely be coming back.

6/29/25 at 4:30 pm our family of six came to order Fried chicken & waffles, double cheeseburger w fries, double chili burger w fries, breakfast burrito, French toast and fish and chips. The entire meal was disgusting…the cheeseburgers were terribly made with beef patties that were rubbery. The chicken was dark brown refried over ask for a new batch and it came out still frozen inside. Fish was so greasy and overly battered. French was hard as toast. DONT EVER EAT HERE!!! Go to the heritage down the street they are a lot 10 times fresher and better. The server not lied about the food but tried to over charge on the bill? Ain’t that about sum }#%^! . ZERO STARS FOR THIS PLACE!!!
