This place is a gem. Small focused menu. Strong focus on the basics, great tortilla, fresh ingredients, great depth of flavors and just the right amount of heat. Definitely recommend if you are in the area, to swing by and try the food.

Variety wise Guisados has the most unique flavor profiles for tacos I have come by in long beach. The sampler is a great way to get your whistle wet and see which is your favorite. The tamales will give any abuela a run for her money. The customer service is great and you can taste the love and tradition of put into each bite ❤️

I want this restaurant to succeed. Lunch here was nice. The tacos were very good with a very large selection. Ordering a taco platter for a party was an absolute nightmare. No discount off the single taco price even when you order 60! They explained the ordering process to me, took my order and I paid the bill. 2 days later I receive a phone call. The order was all wrong and I wasn't charged nearly enough. Who's fault was that - Guisados. They at least admitted that. But the actual price was 2.5 times higher!!!! Rather than apologize and offer a discount or compromise - it was pay full price or hit the highway. Not exactly a winning customer service strategy. Maybe go and have lunch but don't place a big order!

Had the Bistek en Salsa Roja at Guisados—great tortilla and super juicy meat (almost too juicy). Wish it came with more toppings than just a thin avocado slice, since the tortilla flavor overpowered a bit. Cool vibe inside and a nice patio; I’ll be back to try another taco.

Great place, outstanding food, perfect, delicious, so, so very tasty. I go there as often as possible, even or most of the time by my self, I can't just pass by a d ignore it, my brain goes crazy, I turn around and have a sample plater, an one or two aguas frescas, then satisfied and happy, continue with my rest of the day, until next time 😀
Consistently delicious! Parking can be difficult at times. The outdoor patio is super cute but sometimes it smells like urine.
