This place is a gem. Small focused menu. Strong focus on the basics, great tortilla, fresh ingredients, great depth of flavors and just the right amount of heat. Definitely recommend if you are in the area, to swing by and try the food.
Variety wise Guisados has the most unique flavor profiles for tacos I have come by in long beach. The sampler is a great way to get your whistle wet and see which is your favorite. The tamales will give any abuela a run for her money. The customer service is great and you can taste the love and tradition of put into each bite ❤️
I want this restaurant to succeed. Lunch here was nice. The tacos were very good with a very large selection. Ordering a taco platter for a party was an absolute nightmare. No discount off the single taco price even when you order 60! They explained the ordering process to me, took my order and I paid the bill. 2 days later I receive a phone call. The order was all wrong and I wasn't charged nearly enough. Who's fault was that - Guisados. They at least admitted that....
