All the the food was really good the chicken gave me food poisoning. So 1 star.

The chicken is good. Let’s get that out the way. It’s just expensive. I got three wings and two sides for $17. The mac & cheese is inedible, taste like kraft. Would not recommend. Fries are cool.
Just expected to be completely satisfied for $20 take out.

Omggggg the prices are crazy !!!! No matter how good your chicken is!!!!! Are you cray over $20 for a 2 piece chicken meal. That’s sooooooo price gouging… I mean I understand food prices went up !!!! But rally !!!! A whole chicken at Costco is $4.99 a whole chicken with you is $50 explain that one. Well we will not be coming we are to poor to eat you overpriced chicken !! Thanks for nothing !!

Went to this location today and found a Sheriff's eviction notice on the window. I have no idea how they list this location.

I'm from Memphis ...where Gus's originated. I've had the chicken there so many times. I've also had it in several other locations around the country. The flavor is consistent because they fly the secret seasoning blend to all their remote locations daily or weekly. So that's solid.... BUT OF ALL THE LOCATIONS I'VE BEEN TO, LONG BEACH HAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST THAT I'VE HAS UP TO THIS POINT! I'VE NEVER HAD CHICKEN SO JUICY.... EVEN THE BREAST.... which is known for being dry... was so juicy and tender i almost ordered a delivery of more chicken after we finished what we picked up and brought home. It was that good!! Highly recommended. Call in your order in advance. We learned the hard way... the wait wasn't too too long but there was about a 20 minute wait. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The pecan and sweet potatoe pies were both very good too.
