Great little ice cream spot. They have a ton of fun flavors to choose from and the portion size is solid. I got the monkey banana flavor and it was delicious.

The best place for gourmet ice cream. It’s reasonably priced and soooo good. There’s only outside seating, but it’s quick and perfect for a sweet tooth. They have so many flavors for any mood you’re in. I recommend “Monkey Business” if you like banana flavoring.

My daughter's and I love Handel's ice cream. We stopped by yesterday to take my nephew since he's never had it. He ordered the Horchata ice cream and he loved it. He will definitely be going back! Huge thank you to Jude! Great customer service! He was very friendly and offered my 1 year old daughter a baby cone.

Whoever is shift leading between 8:40PM till now as this review is posted, I feel like the workers don’t noticed that we can see that they’re not really doing anything. Not sure if there plenty of trainees, but the line movement is slower than usually. One employee would wash their hands, wait a few minutes, and just stand there. Seems like there are only two windows open as well. Girl with pinkish red hair was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Chocoholic Chunk in a milkshake form is rich. Employees just need to be aware to keep it professional because of the windows.

The ice cream is very affordable and tasty! They provide many different types of flavors and many different ice cream forms (?) such as a banana split, ice cream sandwich, you can even get a pint of any of their flavor!

I decided to bring my son out to Long Beach for some summer fun. We are from Yorba Linda and frequent the Handel’s on Yorba Linda Blvd. I am truly mind blown at what I experienced today. Alani claimed to be the manager on staff, I asked to speak to her since I ordered a strawberry shake and had to wait over 25 min for it. When I arrived I was the second person in line so I didn't understand what the reason for this long wait could be. Mind you it is 87 degrees today and I can see inside the ice cream shop and see the workers laughing and joking. When I spoke to Alani she was unprofessional, racist and arrogant. All I was looking for was to share some feedback, if a shake is going to take this long to make perhaps the customer can be notified at the time of purchase so we can wait in the car with the AC on or change our order. I know this is not the way Handel’s treats customer as I have been a customer for many many years. So disappointed at the way I was treated today and I hope no one ever has to encounter this again. Alani BE BETTER, SET AN EXAMPLE FOR YOUR STAFF OR FIND A JOB THAT YOU ACTUALLY FEEL PASSIONATE ABOUT, stop treating customer with a degrading attitude.

Fiona was really nice, ice cream is pretty good. Atmosphere is ok there is a worker there who I think personally doesn’t like serving blacks, but it may just be “a day” for her. Anyway I won’t be coming back here.

I don’t understand why when ordering two scoops of ice cream, the second scoop is half the size of the first scoop. They should be the same size.
Just Go....you will not be disappointed...I recommend their extra thick milkshakes...off the chain

Update: gave this place another try after trying when it first open. The blueberry cheesecake and blueberry cobbler was so good fresh and delicious. Made it 4 stars will try again in future to submit and seal 5 stars. The service from the kids that work there is still good!
First off good customer service. As far as the ice cream I got the sampler and tried 4 different flavors. I wasn’t wowed and I wouldn’t even be compelled to come back. It was pretty standard.
