I seriously don’t know how this place has such bombastic reviews they must have called upon the powers of the dark side or something. I’ve been to countless ramen places all around SoCal and this one takes the cake as the absolute worse so far. Don’t even started on the hotdogs call a sausage and pass and serve with a side of ketchup. Do yourself a favor eat some dirt save $80 and you receive that same stomach pains. Ew.

Absolutely loved the food and the prices. Our go-to place in Long Beach! 2 of us couldn't finish a half portion of combination fried rice - and we wanted to!

I had the black garlic ramen and wasn't a huge fan. The broth was oddly bland and a bit off putting in flavor to me. I doctored it up with their chili oil and soy sauce and it was at least semi ok.
The chasu however was ridiculously good. One of the best pieces I've ever had. I'm excited to come back and try some of their soupless noodles. The free edamame was a nice touch.
Beware of their soy sauce dispenser, the pour spout is deceptively big. Super easy to accidentally put too much.

So, mixed review here.
I ordered the spicy Tonkatsu, and upon taking a sip, it was the spiciest thing I’ve ever tasted possibly in my life. It was inedible. (I’ve had spicy tonkatsu easily 100 times, and the spice was verified by my partner with me)
When I complained, they suggested I dilute it with plain broth, which they brought me, and I did, and it was as spicy as the original bowl.
Finally, I asked for just plain tonkatsu, as I was turned off by spice at that point. They brought me that, and I ate it.
When they submitted the bill, they wanted to charge me five dollars for extra broth, which I laughed at and asked him to take it off, and they did.
So overall, weird experience, didn’t like how they handled this, but they did respond to me , so that’s good.
My partner had the black garlic ramen and that was great.

Food was good. So far the best ramen I’ve had in socal compared to when I lived in Japan. The noodles are probably the closest thing I’ve had compared to my favorite restaurant in Japan. Flavor is there but could be more rich.

Delicious. Simple ingredients prepared perfectly. The details and care put into the menu make this place shine. I like the cucumber salad, sesame chicken and spicy tonkatsu (it's SPICY).

Great spot for a cozy ramen stop! The service was friendly and fast, plus the free edamame was a nice touch. The combination fried rice was super satisfying, and the eggplant katsu was crispy, flavorful, and honestly a standout. Definitely coming back! 🍜✨

I came here on their first day so please take that into consideration. But I cannot give it a fake review based on that excuse. I asked if the black garlic ramen was a miso or a tokotsu base and the host seemed to not know and said something like misotsu which either way, if it was miso or tonkotsu I had no problem with it. When the food came, it smelled really fishy and it was some kind of a shio or dashi based soup which I couldn't eat. Tried the tonkotsu and I'd give it a 7.8. Black garlic ramen I don't like fishy broths and I would give it a 4.9.

Ordered the Tonkatsu broth ramen. It was pretty plain and not very flavorful. The broth was bland and watery. The pork however is extremely tender and juicy, not chewy and fatty at all!! Also got a cucumber salad, (it doesn't have a description, I should have asked) it was just raw cucumber with a tiny amount of some unknown dressing on top. Just not what I was expecting. The service was great. But I won't be back here for ramen anytime soon
