I usually don’t write reviews, but we ordered a coffee and the honeybee sandwich. The coffee was burnt, so we ask to swap it with something else. We took a bite of the sandwich and the bacon was completely raw!! Overall terrible.

What a beautiful store with a shitty experience with customer service and an awful smoothie. Dont be fooled but the looks. The acai smoothie taste like pure ice. No flavor at all. Its sad because I used to come here a year or so ago and the quality has declined immensely.

1. WAY TOO LONG for the quality of product served.
2. Menu is contributing factor with burgers, bowls, coffees, boba: they have to stock too many items, and obviously have the staff shortfalls that contribute to the wait, frustration and experience.
3. Hours are minimum effort, it’s more than obvious the inexperienced staff or owners hoped for more foot traffic and profit from online orders. In reality this boutique eatery is surrounded by family style homes = no foot traffic when they are open and more competent and attractive online options for this business to compete.
Very negative experience and it’s probably best to be replaced with a more competent owner and streamlined menu.
45 minutes for a salad that basic and in no way worth the price.

I had their version of the Brownsugar Oatmilk Expresso. It tasted homemade in a good way. Very yummy. The service nice and helpful.

Honey bees has the very best peanut butter acai bowl in long beach. I get mine without the chia pudding layer. Im also like that they now open til 530 again. Their asian chicken salad is great also.

I live nearby and love the idea of a walkable neighborhood coffee shop. Honeybees has so much potential but is missing the mark.
Recommendations to the owners—-
1. Get rid of the stupid, order by screen mechanism. It actually slows down production. I just waited 15minutes for 3 people to order with that thing. You don’t have enough people in the shop to justify this. It also destroys any element of real customer service and face to face contact. People don’t care for it.
2. For the sister company next door, 2nd and Loma. Same advice, where are the servers??? You order at a screen and they serve you your food behind a wall? There is no atmosphere, no music. So much wasted potential.
You could do so much more with the space. Have community events that invite some of the locals. The place feels like a ghost town and a very lazy afterthought of a coffee shop.

I want to like this place but they keep screwing up my orders, so I'm not going back. The location, outdoor seating, menu items are cool. But this is the 2nd time they've given me a latte with all milk and no coffee, and my egg sandwich has shells in it. Frankly it raises questions that if they're paying this little attention to their food prep, where else are they making mistakes. I should have written them off a while ago but kept giving them second chances. This time I'm done. I hope they can get their issues fixed but I will not keep giving them my money and eating their food to find out.
This place has zero atmosphere. Food and drinks were sub-par.
Great tasting lavender drink. Cute little shop.
Ordered 2 coffees and it took over 14 minutes with no other patrons in the store. The Salted Cold brew tasted strongly of cigarettes. The iced coffee tasted beyond watered down. Waste of time and money had to throw both drinks away.

Quiet, a bit outdated inside not great for working / studying limited on outlets.
Atmosphere could be better.
Took 20 minutes and no one else was there lol kinda ridiculous
The Honey Rose Latté is work the drive from LA, their acai is also delicious!
39 dollars for 2 soup and sandwich combos. Sandwiches thin. Tomato soup not even filling up the small cup. Thin bread. No crunch. Sandwich tastes great. Not worth the price. Cool looking place. Not cool enough to justify tiny portions and expensive pricing. Disappointing to say the least. Order at the kiosk. So expensive and nobody even takes my order. Sad. Smh. In the picture I hadn't even taken a spoonful of soup. Smh.
I stopped by to get a coffee early in the morning. When I entered, there was no one at the front. When the woman noticed me, she walked towards the counter but gave me a deer-in-the-headlights look before heading back to the back room.
After waiting a few more minutes, she finally came to take my order. She seemed both irritated and confused. I ordered a coffee with espresso and cream. However, I received a cup of black coffee that tasted burnt and had no cream. I watched her make it, and there was no espresso added at all. I feel bad for the person who owns this place
because I know good workers are hard to come by.
