I would never go back here again sushi. We were here two weeks ago around 8:00pm on friday and it's not crowded except a group of local folks. We ordered a sushi boat and toro. The waitress took my orders and came back to tell me Toro was out and then I ordered different sushi dish... our sushi boat was rubber fish, the texture was like a rubber tires for us to chew on. My macro smelled bad. Bottom line is suck. The waitress brought food out without soy sauce and we waited probably 10' for one of them walked around. We love the location a the live music band who played most of the eagles' song that we like. Food and service were sucks...

This place is SO good! The staff are all super nice, the food is delicious (pad Thai recommended), and the inside is so pretty. I highly recommend being seated outside because of how pretty the water is!

Jade isn't just a place to eat; it's a Long Beach icon, capturing the city's unique spirit with every dish and note. The food is consistently great. Sushi, Chinese, and Thai dishes that keep me coming back. Tastefully decorated, waterfront views, and moderate prices make it a great value. What elevates the experience is the fantastic music, making every dinner feel like a special occasion. It's my favorite restaurant.

The 2 beef entrees were not freshly cooked, had an after taste and smell.
Buffet set up was made up of 3 small rectangular tables formed in a somewhat U shape covered in a black table cloth.
Hot Entree set up was cramped in 3 small uneven stainless steel vessel, in one chafing dish, all served cold.
I understand they just recently offered and launched the lunch buffet but they should have put some type of planning on how they can properly execute the buffet offerings and set up. They were not ready which ruined the beauty of the space and location. However, the server was attentive and friendly!

I just had the most disappointing first time at Jade. It seems the only good thing are the strong drinks as most of the clientele that seemed regulars swarmed the bar. Presentation, taste and value of the food were all so poor.
