My son and I loved this place because it is one of the best ramen restaurants in Long Beach and is comparable to ramen quality in Japan! We know what excellent ramen is, and we also know what excellent customer service is because my son was born and raised in Japan, and I lived in Japan for 30 years. The previous staff was great, but the new staff has made a lot of mistakes, and they don't seem to care as much. We tell them that we like our noodles "firm" or in Japanese "かた麺” or "Katamen". Requesting the firmness of noodles in Japan is normal. The other day, I requested firm noodles, and when I got home they had given us thick noodles instead. We used to love this place, but now we are very disappointed.
This is the first time we went here, the ramen we got was really good and there's vegetarian options, dinning space is really small and to get parking sucks but overall we enjoyed our food .
above and beyond service, delicious food, wonderful spot :)

The tonkotsu ramen was okay, personally not my fave but the person who accompanied me loved the pork on the ramen .The sesame chicken was really good and so was the pork bun.The service was just okay. They lagged a bit but that's to be expected usually.

In Japan, sushi is never served at ramen restaurants, and ramen is never served at sushi restaurants. This is America, so it's no surprise that owner/managers and customers don't know much about Japanese food or styles. As long as the taste is delicious, all of them don't have to worry about foreign common sense?

Twice I've gone with my father and 2× it's been delicious and a delight! The sesame chicken is a go to for appetizers and I love the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth itself alone. The ladies who served us are very attentive and polite. The food is freshly made and very filling. The only 2 things though......Finding parking anywhere in the street ( Lol )And kinda on the price( but that's debatable depending on how many people and what's ordered exactly. )
This place has THE BEST ramen in all of Long Beach in my opinion. Very underrated, they should have a line out the door but they are usually not busy. Highly reccomend the Tonkatsu ramen with crispy tofu. Id eat here everyday if i could frVegetarian options: They have a specifically vegetarian ramen
Broth was good, not as rich as I would like to be. Wish the noodles were a bit firmer. Overall, it is a very good Ramen shop.

The best ramen I have tried, broth is tasty and well seasoned, meat is so tender that melts in your mouth, the appetizers are great and they have lunch specials that are very affordable. The only hard part was to find parking and the place is small but they have excellent service!

If you're in the mood for a quick and easy ramen fix in Downtown Long Beach, this spot might just hit the spot. I recently stopped by for a bowl, and while it didn't knock my socks off, it certainly did the job. The ramen here is pretty much run of the mill - nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. The broth was decent, noodles were cooked just right, and the toppings were standard fare. It's the kind of place where you know exactly what to expect, which can be comforting in its own way. If you're a local or find yourself in the area with a ramen craving, it's a convenient option to satisfy that urge without any fuss.Overall, while it may not be the most exciting or innovative ramen joint around, it gets the job done if you're looking for a no-frills bowl of noodles in Downtown Long Beach.
