We were seated as soon as we arrived for our reservation but then we weren't affected for at least twenty minutes before someone showed up to ask if we'd been served. Other than that the food was decent and drinks were okay.

Sharon was an amazing bartender, at least I think that's what I think her name was. She was petite, bubbly and spicy. Able to engage and give you the bar top experience even though it was a full house on Taco Tuesday.
I'm picky about my old fashioned and any spirit forward drinks and she delivered. Well balanced and refined. I'll absolutely come back again. But if you're here make sure you ask for an old fashioned or black Manhattan. You won't regret it.

Came by during a business trip and tried their new mole enchiladas. Very flavorful! Service was excellent, Diana was personable, efficient and even gave us some habanero salsa to try since we said we liked spicy food! Enchiladas are a bit spicy but so good! Chips and salsa were on point and glad the vibe was calm and welcoming. Other Kalaveras had their music so loud I thought I was at the club and not a restaurant. They had $10 liter drinks today and they were very good! Would highly recommend this place if you are in the Long Beach area.

They hire someone to take pictures of you and then charge $15 for picture to give them to you. Unfortunately the wet burrito wasn't as good as it looked. I was hoping for more harmonious flavorings. The rolls I ate really messed up my stomach. But the flan was great. :')
