This gas station is my go to for gas and for dinner. You can feed a family of six for under $30. Don’t be fooled by Gas Station food. This chicken is the best chicken I’ve ever had. Out beats any fried chicken I’ve ever had.

i just moved to dtlb & was so excited to see a krispy krunchy that i haven’t seen or eaten since leaving the south, but sadly my review is based more on customer service at this location than the food itself. the food is always hot & delicious… IF i’m able to get any. some days, i arrive in the afternoon & there are only a couple of pieces left but i need a box or there’s 2 thighs, but want 2 legs & 2 wings. i ask if more can be made & am told NO, it’ll be made “later”. why wouldn’t a batch be made regardless, that time of the day? it would be sold beforehand anyways w/ dinner time coming, so how would it be a risk? but to have no chicken between lunch & dinner is insanity… & i’d rather drive further to patronize the other location who values my time & money. the *female* cashier is always friendly though, so that’s why i gave 2-stars instead of 1 for service.

Gas station Louisiana style fried chicken aka ghetto chicken at its best. You know you're in the hood when you see the Krispy chicken and it's always worth a stop bc these chicken are fantastic 😍
