Great service and delicious tacos

I ordered some tacos and my wife ordered a quesadilla with carne asada. So when I got home and went to enjoy my tacos, tell me why all three tortillas ripped apart and since when do we use cheddar cheese on quesadillas? Before biting into the food it, the food looked delicious till you actually took a bite. Slightly disappointed... and the place is super small if you plan on eating there with a big party

Super clean place. Food was fantastic and the taste is authentic Mexican cuisine. We drove from Whittier and it was worth the drive. We are definitely coming back and we recommend this place.

$10 for a quesadilla and it doesn't even with a side of sour cream or a side of guac.

Pretty good food, The woman at the register helped me order when I had trouble ordering something as I wanted to try out something new. The shrimp tacos was an excellent chouce!

I had the food truck today and I ordered a steak burrito and chips and queso .

I was pretty appalled that the “chips and queso” were store bought corn tortilla and straight up yellow American cheese.

The chips and queso were gas station American nachos and for a Spanish place I told them that was quite embarrassing to get gross American nacho cheese instead of actual white queso like I was expecting

There are many Mexican Grill restaurants that exist but none of them are anything like La Chancla. The food is rooted in grass roots to the core Mexican meals. Set up like a chipotle where you can see the meal prep in front of you, minus the corporate restaurant vibes. The music is bumping here and this "hole in the wall" is more like entering a wonderland. Reasonably priced and food packed with flavors that will leave you satisfied. They're true to themselves and show you with their art why you can count on and bet on them for a fulfilling meal. La Chancla has changed the game and set the standard for me as far as what real Mexican food just like home is like.
