I ordered the Huevos with green and red sauce. The green is very hot. It tastes great. Everything is excellent. The rice and beans have a different taste than Mexican and I like it a lot. Mmmm the fried plantains are so good and Salvadorian tortillas I enjoyed very much. I highly recommend the breakfast that I had.
Had been a few years since I initially went and went there again recently. It’s a good Guatemalan and Salvadoran restaurant. I had the Desayuno Chapin, wasn’t bad asked for sunny side up but they ended up over easy, chorizo wasn’t bad; the platanos fritos con crema, frijoles revueltos with the queso fresco were good. My lil one enjoyed the kids pupusa meal that has 2 of them with apple slices, frijoles and rice. The agua frescas were good had the Jamaica and Tamarindo. Instead of chips was given small tortillas with frijoles as appetizer. Would go again and try their other melas for lunch or dinner, went for a brunch meal this time around. Definitely check this place out and support your local Latin American restaurant!

Price of Dishes Too Expensive. If the prices were comfortable I would recommend this place to my friends.
If you’re craving authentic Salvadoran food, this is the spot. The pupusas are, as the name suggests, absolutely perfect—crispy on the outside, filled with cheesy, savory goodness inside. The classic cheese and pork combo is a must-try, but their bean and cheese variation hits just as hard. Don’t skip the curtido (pickled cabbage) and salsa; they add the perfect tangy balance.
The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal with friends. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the mood for comfort food that hits the spot.

I have to say that it's the first time I've ever had Yuka fries and I was not disappointed at all. Everything else I tried was great but the fries took the cake. Definitely returning.

Don't go
Very expensive I ordered a roast cake with chicken, the cake costs 15 dollars and for adding chicken they charged me an extra 16 dollars, it came out to 31 and the cake is very small, they are too much, I do not recommend it

I recently dined at La Esperanza Restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. I had high hopes for their pupusas and cake, but neither lived up to my expectations. The pupusa I tried was bland and lacked the savory, authentic flavors I anticipated. The texture was off, too – it was overly doughy and greasy, making it unpleasant to eat. As for the cake, it was dry and lacked any distinct flavor. It tasted as if it had been sitting out for days, and the frosting was overly sweet and artificial. To make matters worse, the service was slow and unprofessional. The staff seemed uninterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I cannot recommend La Esperanza Restaurant. There are far better options for enjoying authentic pupusas and cakes elsewhere. One star.
