I have been coming to the Guanaquita of Long Beach, for many years. Their food is awesome. I go for the sopa de pescado. (If you don’t want to wait, call it in about 30 minutes before you sit at the table) They don’t have it already made. They make it to order. The picture clearly shows how we can’t wait to eat it ever time we see it. Love the pupusas, arroz y frijoles. The wait for freshly made, authentic food is 100% worth it. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends.

This pupusería had the BEST spicy salsa anywhere in LB and neighboring areas. It's so good and goes great on their pupusas or anything else. Their pupusas are also really good. Highly recommend to call in your order in advance and BE PATIENT. They're made fresh and do take a while. A lot of the bad reviews for this restaurant are their wait times so just be patient! It's worth it and reasonably priced.
