Sadly, this place was HORRIBLE tonight. We had reservations and they sat us 20 minutes after. The service was so slow it took over an hour and a half to get our food and the server rarely checked on us or cared about our table. The food was just okay. My wire has a gluten allergy and the gluten free pasta was subpar. I’ve been to Italy many times and I could make this food at home. I won’t be back and there are other authentic Italian restaurants that actual have good customer service and care about their customers. I would definitely not recommend.

The food is really good, but the service is horrible. They said a 30 to 45 minute wait which turned out to be over a hour and a half. Everytime we asked where we were on the list they said we were next. We sat and watched as tables with the same group size were sat before us over and over and over. They knew my gf was cold and eventually sat us at the table nearest the open door. The water tasted like toliet water which it probably was. Food was good, but it wasnt worth being treated like crap over. We will not be back. I recommend spagettini for excellent food and super good service. And, their water taste good. Half our parties food came out and 10 to 15 minutes later the remaining meals came out. Ibly the first half our party got cheese on their pasta as the waitress ignored us and never came back to offer the other half our party cheese. Waitress didnt even bring the food out.

My short rib pasta was sooooo good. I told them I wanted the Parmesan saffron cream they use in gnocchi instead of just the saffron cream and it was one of the best pastas I ever had. Sooooo good!

Went here for my birthday. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer which had a nice crispy light batter then we had the margarita pizza, two orders of the Bronzino fish And an order of the scampi everything was very good. The service was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

I love the Italian decor in this place! The carbonara was a bit dry for my taste, but the flavor was still great

The food was good, little pricey for what it is, but overall good. Wine was overpriced as well. They aremt serving anything that I saw worth $15-21 a glass. The pasta itself was good, the sauce and meatballs lacked flavor in areas. I'm a snob when it comes to Italian food, though, so take that for what it is. The atmosphere was nice, just a tad too busy and crowded for my usual liking. Service was good as what can be expected with a place as crowded and busy as this.

La Parolaccia Osteria serves one of the best pizzas in Long Beach! Every visit feels like a culinary treat, thanks to their consistently high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors. My personal favorites are the Sofia and Romana pizzas—both are an absolute must-try! Whether you’re craving a classic or something a bit more unique, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!
