La Playa is back and open for business! Stopped by last weekend to get away from the LB heat and enjoy some cold brews! Seems to have a new manager but my fav bartender is still working. Beers and drinks are offered at such a great price!! You can't find drinks for around $3.00 anywhere else in the city! And I was happy to see the place had been fixed up and has a brand new patio! Don Carlos is such a gracious fun loving guy! He made me feel right at home and let me change the tv channels to the Dodger game!! Go Dodgers! Plus the state of the art jukebox has all my latest jams! But be ready to mix it up with Banda which is the locals' music of choice. Had a great time and I will be back soon! Thanks Carlos!!
I ate on the beautiful little patio by the fire. This place has the best margaritas. This place has amazing ambiance, drinks , and food. My chilaquiles looked like a work or art. The device was so impeccable and friendly. The dessert really hit the spot. The churros dipped in espresso were out of this world. I will definitely be back again.
