The food represents the best of Italian cuisine - it's just yummy! But really impressed me was the service. My dinner partner. got stuck on the 405 and the wait staff was very thoughtful and considerate, checking on me frequently. When she finally made it to the restaurant, the service was just great! My congratulations to the owners / management for a great wait staff!!

This dinner was planned weeks in advance. The service was very slow upon arrival (I almost walked out). The carpaccio was tough although thinly sliced. The chicken picatta was dry and the sauce was more like "gravy" than the light in texture lemon caper butter sauce one would expect from such a classic dish. My creme brulee had the consistency of soup which had to be sent back. The "owner" was in the dinning room but NOT "present". All-in-all a complete waste of time and money and NO it was NOT cheap! 5 star prices with -1 star results. The owner ought to be ashamed of himself.

Wonderful restaurant in downtown Long Beach. We were a group of 10 and enjoyed wonderful service and the food was outstanding. No complaints from anyone. The signature Chilean Sea Bass was wonderful. We met Mario and were treated like family by the staff. This team makes a real effort to ensure you have a great experience. Thank you Blake!!!

Located in the most beautiful area of Long Beach with the best homemade pasta you'll find. This is my go-to for entertaining and it never disappoints.

We just didn't like the dishes we ordered. We got the filet mignon risotto and the lobster tortelli... the sauces tasted similar and they just weren't worth the price. The Caesar salad wasn't good either. Overall, pretty bummmed.

The food and service was excellent. Coco our server was amazing. One of the best servers I have ever experienced. She was friendly, attentive, fast and always with a smile. Simply the best.

Where Italian elegance throws a party with old-world charm and invites your taste buds to dance.

Picture this: A Saturday night in Long Beach and the historic Willmore building glowing like it’s holding secrets from a century ago. My wife and I strolled in, dressed to impress and ready to celebrate our daughter’s birthday like it was a national holiday. La Traviata didn’t just open its doors, they threw them wide, popped some bubbles, and practically sang “Benvenuti!” before we even sat down.

We had reservations, but the way they whisked us to our table, you’d think we were visiting dignitaries, or at the very least, folks with an unhealthy passion for pasta. Within minutes, we had a round of sparkling bubbles in hand, fizzing like little Italian fireworks. Cheers to birthdays, bubbles, and food that flirts with your soul.

The Salad: Crisp. Fresh. Balanced. The kind of starter that makes you sit up straighter and believe in leafy greens again.

The Pasta: Oh, mamma mia. This wasn’t just a dish, it was an edible love letter written in cream, garlic, and perfectly cooked noodles. It didn’t just fill the stomach. It healed wounds I didn’t know I had.

And then, cue the spotlight, James and Celeste Alcantara began serenading the room. Their music didn’t just float through the air. They wrapped around the evening like a velvet ribbon. When they sang “Happy Birthday” to our daughter, we all went from “enjoying a nice meal” to “excellence in the candlelight.” It was a Hallmark moment
 but with better sauce.

The service? Impeccable. Present without hovering. Friendly without being fake. Like dining with family, if your family was really, really good at timing.

The ambiance? Flickering candles, vintage accents, and cozy corners. This place doesn’t whisper romance, it croons it.

We left full, glowing, and already plotting our return. La Traviata doesn’t just serve dinner. It serves story-worthy evenings. The kind you replay in your head during Monday morning meetings and sigh out loud about.

TL;DR:
Historic building. Italian magic. Pasta that hugs your soul. Live serenades by angels in disguise. If you’re not already booking a table, I’m not sure we can be friends.

A great find in Long Beach. Nestled in a beautiful old building, this gem has great, welcoming service and amazing food. They even had live music that fit the vibe. I will definitely come back!

La Traviata is a high end dinner restaurant. It opens up at 5:00 P.
M. , and offers a daily happy hour. from 5:00-6:00.p.m. Mon-Fri. Specializing in Italian cuisine.
I enjoyed the freshly baked warm 🍞 bread with butter, grilled brussel sprouts, a mixed green salad w/balsamic vinaigrette dressing and a glass đŸ„‚ of Moscato white wine on the patio. The food is superb; the staff is professional, and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Utterly charming waitress (Blake) and chat with the charismatic owner, who checked on us. Elegant but not stuffy ambiance, delicious, creative dishes. We enjoyed salad with warm artichokes fish, pasta with seafood. A gem in Long Beach.
