When I took my first bite, I turned to my wife and said, “Those aren’t just cooks back there, those are chefs.” The night before, my family celebrated my daughter’s engagement at a well-known Brazilian steakhouse in Beverly Hills. With a party of nine, we expected a memorable evening, but unfortunately, the experience ended on a disappointing note. Lacquered was exactly what we needed to restore our spirits. It’s not about a fancy name or a 90210 zip code, a truly great restaurant delivers exceptional food and an unforgettable experience. And Lacquered does just that. This is by far one of my favorite places to get food from in Long beach! Their selection is absolutely impeccable, and it seems that they always have a million additional options that aren't even listed on the menu. The staff is extremely personable and helpful when trying to choose the right dish and in my experience they have never disappointed! I'm not much of a fried chicken person normally but theirs is absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend didn't stop talking about it for about 3 days 😂.
Also make sure to try the salmon option that you can add to a rice bowl or salad. They do some sort of pan-fried thing and the salmon comes out completely perfect in every way, I've never had anything like it.

I've been living in Long Beach for four years now, and I can't believe I never discovered this place before. If you're looking for the best fried chicken, this is the spot! If you're craving delicious chicken tenders, this is the place! If you want a chicken bowl with all the fixings, folks, this is the place to go!
This place offers a little bit of everything. From fish and chips to tangy salads and tasty garlic noodles, it truly rocks! The owners and cooks, Scott and Dianna, prepare everything on the menu, so you can't go wrong with any choice you make.
They even create and make dog treats!
Once you eat here, you'll definitely come back for more! Be sure to say hello to Scott and Dianna when you visit. I personally recommend the garlic noodles with the grilled chicken bowl.
Lastly, please be patient with the cooks, as they prepare everything fresh and made to order. And don't forget to try Dianna's chocolate chip cookies—they're delicious!

Great spot. Got a half chicken with coleslaw and peanut sauce, a half order of fries, five different sauces, and a crack cookie. Very generous portions on everything. Chicken had a thick, crunchy batter and the skin on fries were very crispy. Everything was fantastic but the thing that surprised me the most was that coleslaw, I think that was the best coleslaw I've ever had. Definitely getting the family pack next time I have company.
