Beautiful outside area. My party of 3 ordered one pizza half pepperoni half cheese(we were the only ones there)and it took 45 mins but could’ve went on for longer had I not asked what’s taking so long. Poor customer service. I went inside and they were all huddled up around the table sharing a laugh. They even said hi welcome in like I didn’t just order 45 mins ago. You could tell the pizza was done a while ago and they just never brought it to us. Now after we got our food our waitress came out telling us it was unnecessary of me to ask for the food I bought. Yes, they gave us “complimentary lemonade cups” which were smaller than their water cups. This place prioritizes online orders. I’d probably still be waiting if I didn’t say anything.

I ordered five take out pizzas at noon on Friday and paid for them at the front counter of the 3500 N. Los Coyotes Diagonal location. I told the cashier I would bring cash for a tip, unspecified amount, when I picked up my order at 3:30 that afternoon. I don’t typically include tips on my credit card, I prefer to pay cash. Ordering five pizzas at noon gave them 3.5 hours to prepare my pizzas for pickup at 3:30 p.m.
I received a phone call prior to picking up my order and they told me that I owed an additional amount for gratuity. When I arrived they would not hand over my pizzas until I paid 18% gratuity, so my credit card was charged 18% gratuity on my order ($21). I had $10 for a tip because I didn’t think my order was considered a “catering order” since I dropped in and placed my order 3.5 hours in advance and then drove back to pick it up.
Their reasoning for charging 18% gratuity was that an order of five pizzas is considered a “catering order”, and they want their employees to feel like they were compensated for their time to make that many pizzas. I noticed that there were no other cars in the parking lot, no other customers in line, and there was one pizza in the warmer to be picked up. I was aggravated and I voiced my opinion about the ludicrous reasoning for charging a customer a hefty gratuity for a pickup order. The manager decided to give me a $25 gift card after charging my credit card the 18% gratuity of $21. This makes no sense to me, but thanks for the gift card.

I appreciate the special designs that Little Coyote offers. Their pizzas are truly unique and visually appealing.

Pretty bad experience trying to just buy a tshirt here. The girl at the counter was super rude and unhelpful. Like literally couldn’t even answer basic questions like how much it was or what colors/sizes they had. She went to go ask the manager and they told me I’d have better luck buying it online… Why would you guys have shirts in your window if you won’t sell them to people? One of the weirdest interactions I’ve ever had. It’s like they were annoyed I was trying to buy something from them.

Today I was in Long Beach for work when I was craving some pizza, but I didn’t want one of those chains Domino’s or Pizza Hut so I went on Yelp and found this place. Wow this place was amazing. My wife got the vegetarian pizza and I got the half-and-half. It was fresh and very hot. All the ingredients were delicious. The people here were so nice. The service was excellent. I wish I would’ve found this place sooner next time. I’m in Long Beach. I would definitely come back. This place is highly recommended if you’re craving some pizza.

Pizza was fine but they forgot to refund for missing items and I had to visit in person to get a cash refund where they argued they shouldn't have to pay the full refund with taxes & fees. Embarrassing treatment of customers when you made the mistake..

edit reply to owner: you charged 15% in taxes & fees and tried to refund 10% in taxes & fees 😂 can't make this stuff up

I love their pizzas and the anti pasta salad. The counter staff are always friendly and courteous.
However, don't order online. I ordered my pizza and salad and decided to try the calzone. I ordered and paid.
When I went to pick up my order I was told they were out of the calzone. They would refund it to my card. I called 4 days later because I saw the original charge posted to my account but no refund. The manager wasn't available that day but I was assured I would get a call the next day. It's been a full week since my order and still no pending credit to my account and no call.
I will definitely go there again, but I will order over the phone and not online.

Hands down Little Coyote makes best pizza in the S.E. Part of Los Angeles. I’m pizza fanatic and very picky due to the fact I’m originally from upstate New York and New York pizza is one of the best. I’ve tried everything on their menu. Our favorites are usually Whole white, Papa Joe, and a veggie. Dine in or delivery , this is a must have when craving pizza.

The Italian sandwich is incredible. Stacked with meats and cheese on a perfectly toasted roll.
The pizza is delicious too. Fresh, sliced mushrooms and loads of pepperoni. All there pizzas are freshly made. Great little pizzeria!
