Black coffee and avocado this morning was delicious with great staff and a busy but not crowded vibe. I love this business!

Their bagels are good and coffee, but don’t waste your money on the ham and cheese croissant sandwich. Plus the wait to get our food was 30 minutes. It was advertised as a build your own sandwich and you could add things, so I added avocado. It was greasy and mushy, so l I tried to eat it with a fork and knife. It was just barely edible. No refund or accommodation could be given. Stick with a bagel and cream cheese if you go there. Much safer option.
Coffee 4.4
Bagel lox 4.5, I found the pickled onions to be a tad too sweet, but very impressive nonetheless.

I don't go out for coffee much but this place had pretty good coffee. I didn't try any of the food
He
Worst service.. the cashier is very terrible. Those who prepare the coffee have priorities.. I visited this place twice and the first time I thought it was me who thought they were decriminative., but not today I went again and yes I like it latina me
They left last and I didn't
They gave what I asked for, I spoke to them and
They ignored... It is the worst place I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. THE WORKERS ARE DESCRINATIVE
the coffee and food were wonderful. The staff and environment inside are delightful. Maybe avoid the gathering of overgrown boys who congregate outside to yell about politics, but the place itself is beautiful
I always buy here every morning like 8 or 9 before I got to work cause I love their bagels, like 3x a week! But this lady who works in casher always ruined my morning cause of her attitude every time I order. She dont even listen what I want. Like this morning Oct 12 I gotta nice morning but she ruined it bit! Insane!

Coffee tasted bad
I was excited to try this new place. The food was decent but ran out of everything that I wanted. The place was a little dirty. The service was poor and unfriendly service. It took my dad 20 minutes to get his sandwich and when he asked about it, it took them another 10 minutes to finally get it. Mind you it took about 10 minutes for other people to get thier order. No apologies or nothing. Probably won’t come back.

The food and drinks are spot on. The location is SUPER cramped. The poor employees behind the counter are tripping over each other to make things happen. There are a lot of old codgers that can't hear order call-outs and will snag your order. Had one today snatch up my food, open it, and poke at it to see if it was theirs. Apparently reading the ticket didn't catch on with them back in 53'. The ladies were nice enough to make me a new sandwich. The corner location in the seedy shopping plaza is also off-putting. The majority of locals eating outside have to endure cramped tables with cars wizzing by.

The Local Grind is a Regular Spot. ?
PROS: When you find your drink of choice, you feel content and satisfied. There is a decent menu selection for both beverages and foods, and I stumbled upon my go-to drink on the second visit, trying out different things. I order the same thing every time now, and very much enjoy it as a morning treat. Consistently delicious, between a number of baristas. I appreciate the little shopping items inside made by local folks/businesses, and the vibe of it clearly being a popular place for regulars. After a few visits, one of the baristas noticed I was a new regular in the mix and I've counted that at least three seem to know my order now. It's little things, so it lives up its name as the Local Grind or spot to be in the neighborhood.
CONS: I have not found worthy cons or reasons to not revisit this place, because it's a good business that operates well. There can be limited space inside (only when it's really busy) and this is balanced with outdoor seating. The food is not made in house from scratch like a bakery, but they support suppliers with good products.
All in all, recommended for a classic morning treat. ☕

I came by since I wanted coffee and something to eat. I got an iced chai latte and a turkey sandwich. I would definitely recommend this place. They have a variety of drinks and food.
