This is surely one of the finest restaurants in the area. Always when I visit this place I am absolutely glad. They keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they give. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Very recommended.

Wow I'm shocked. I love this place been coming here since 1990. My favorite was the chicken fried steak , my wife loved the pancakes. Any out of towners got a invite when they came down to the boat. We gotta go to Long Beach cafe I would say first before anything else. And all my guests were impressed because the staff would converse with me as if we were part of their family. The staff will be missed , I hope they will obtain decent employment, but I doubt it. Those staff members were loyal and some of them have been there since the early days. They will be missed.

I'm so sorry you had to close your doors I loved going to your place...I live across the street and would bring my family there every chance I could. Thank you to all the staff who had been there forever. Everyone of them were all amazing. Thank you for all the years you served this community. You will be missed

Extremely sad news. My office mate and I went there at least once a week for their huge portions and homemade hollandaise and bbq sauce. Best of luck guys! The entire staff always made my day with their smiles and friendliness.

I' am very sad that LBC closed. My family have been waiting to eat there since March. I have been taking my family there for the past 18 years. I myself have been going there for breakfast and lunch meetings for the past 25 years. The staff knows all my kids and wife because they grew up eating there. My kids are in college and being their friends as well. There are certain dishes that we love. Our unique one was the grilled- Chicken Cobb sandwich with steak-fries and pickle. The right amount of ingredients to blend a unique taste that will be savored for years. The staff was great and treated my now adult kids as family. What a year! This is added bad news to this year. I wish you Nick and your staff the very best. Thank you for serving the citizens of Long Beach and it's visitors all these years.

The great people who served so well, Soula, Tye, Umberto, Sharon, to name a few whose names that I know, will be missed. I always thought of them during this time. They did a strong business from the Convention Center, which came to a sharp halt. Symphony evenings, orchestra members caught pre-concert dinner.

This is very sad news to us, that they are closing permanently. I have been coming her since the mid 90's and it is THE ONLY spot for breakfast in Long BeachMy wife and I loved to take the day off and come here to sit by the window and watch the rain come down for the best coffee in town.Absolutely the best burger in town too. We have been waiting for the day we can come back, and it's sadly not going to happen.Terrible news.

I give the Popular Long Beach Cafe located at 615 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802 FIVE STARS. The Frisco Burger or the Colossal Burger is why i continue going. BUT!!! A big cup of their LEMONADE is a must with whichever dish you decide on eating. ITS THE BEST. Try the LEMONADE.? 5️⃣ ?'S

Some "security" of cafe just drove us away from parking. There is absolutely "no space" here. It is unexceptionable.

They have very good food, reasonable pricing as well. I love this cafeteria, not because of their food, but also they were accessible in the city. They were near the metro and bus station. The environment inside is very neat and airy. I love to sit on the couches because it was so cozy. They have the best home cooks here!

Grew up in long beach, back after being away many years. This place reminds me of the good old pike days. Friendly servers. my friend the coffee server. And the food is great. The owner is always working to make things better. Hurry and open again. miss y'all!

If you're looking for a classic diner experience or a hearty breakfast - this is the spot! Long Beach Cafe does not disappoint with it's healthy portions and reasonable prices. Unlimited coffee refills (my favorite), and one of the best hollandaise sauces I've had! Don't be afraid to order a side of hollandaise for any meal that you order :) We are returning costumers not only because of the food, but because of the kind staff and neighborhood feel.
