However, disappointed that the second time, the complimentary bruschetta appetizer was only one piece when the evening before, it was one full order of bruschetta. $14 for a two pieces of bruschetta was way too expensive as written on my receipt. Although it was comped, to know that two pieces would cost $14 is outrageous.

We enjoyed our 2nd evening at L'Opera in a week. What stands out is the the service which is very attentive! The food is excellent and the table thoroughly enjoyed every item. I was amazed at the extensive wine list. The live entertainment was an excellent touch. 5-stars all around!

L'Opera has an ambiance that makes me feel like I'm in a fine dining establishment in Europe. Scott our server and sommelier is a great asset to this establishment. Amazing atmosphere and fancy place with expensive but mediocre food. I’m unimpressed with the dishes. Beef cappacio was sliced too thin, topped with excess cheese and capers. Pasta were slightly better.

Tables packed in pretty close, might not get much space or quiet. Noise can get pretty loud. Staff are usually rushing to keep up, so service might feel a bit distracted.
The food, however, is impressive — rich in flavor, well-balanced, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Loved the food here!
If you’re in the mood for good Italian and don’t mind crowd, noise, and elbow room, this place delivers.

Excellent experience! It did smell a bit like a sewer leak upon entering, but the ambiance, food and service more than made up for it. The vibe is relaxing and beautiful and the staff was super friendly. Looved the live music as well. They offer a variety of options, including vegetarian and vegan choices. would highly recommend if in the area.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to!! I ordered the rigatoni with wild mushrooms, bruschetta & panna cotta & it was all absolutely delicious. Furthermore the hospitality at this place is amazing... The service was so good. We will always be back to this place when we come visit Long Beach. Truly a gem.

The sauce was watered down. The food was okay overall the atmosphere was really nice inside. At the end I forgot my food so I asked the host to go get it and she stared at me like she didn't hear me. I guess she didn't like the fact that I told her the food was not that great. I could say the same for her appearance and attitude. I will definitely not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. The fact that she was so rude at the end made it an even worse experience!
