It was our first time at L'Opera and I'd say the experience was excellent. The staff are very friendly from the time you walk in, up to the time you leave. The food is delicious. My daughter had the rack of lamb. I had the filet mignon. Plus their homemade ravioli, minestrone soup and tri color salad. I wanted to try their dessert too but were so full from the rich meal we had that we don't have any more room left for it. We will definitely come back and bring friends with us next time.

I chose to have my 50+ birthday dinner at L'Opera after scrolling through reviews and menus and $$ for restaurants in Long Beach. The vibe seemed good and overall the reviews were great. Let me say, they did not disappoint. Scott was our server and took VERY good care of us. He was very attentive and observant to our needs. Food was as great, drinks, were great, desserts were to die for. Live music on Fri/Sat was also key. We will be going back soon!

Even the table bread stood out — warm, incredibly soft, and so fresh it practically melted in your mouth. It set the tone for an amazing meal. We started with the burrata, which was unbelievably creamy and paired beautifully with the tomatoes and seasonings. It was fresh, flavorful, and one of the best burrata plates I've had anywhere. The lasagna with vodka sauce was the highlight of the night. The layers were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the vodka sauce had the ideal balance of richness and flavor without being heavy. You can taste the quality in every bite. The ravioli was just as impressive — perfectly cooked, generously filled, and served with a sauce that complemented it perfectly. Everything tasted homemade, authentic, and crafted with care. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was elegant yet comfortable. The staff checked in at the right times and made the experience feel special without being intrusive. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. L'Opera is officially one of my new favorite Italian restaurants.
