Great service, great food, and really good cocktails. Would definitely come back again just for the drinks.

I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.

Although I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, I was disappointed by the slow service. We had to wait for almost 20 minutes to get some water after being seated. However, our waiter was very polite. Perhaps they are short-staffed."

Two of us on last day of Dine Out Long Beach menu for $55 was a really tasty value. One very Large crushed shrimp first course, choice of swordfish or one full plate veggie ravioli (feta, spinach, mushroom, sage in rich brown sauce) and finish with Panna cota. Very attentive service.

I had a very nice dinner with my nephew who was visiting from Phila., but a couple of things made me, shall we say, less than happy. First, they said they were out of the Osso Buco (my favorite dish there, about which I had raved to my nephew in advance) at 6:10 p.m. When I asked how that could be, they said they were removing it from the menu. Ok, but if you don't have it, take it off of the menu now. Second, I'm an avid wine collector (with a 7,000 bottle cellar and a side Internet wine business). I brought a 98 point very rare wine ('18 Alban Reva Syrah) that is unobtainable other than from the mailing list and shared it with my waitress, the GM of the restaurant and the Sommelier, but still got charged corkage. The amount of wine I shared was worth well more than the corkage fee (which in all fairness was reasonable at $25). Admittedly they're not required to waive the corkage fee, but I obviously didn't bring that bottle of wine to "beat their list," (nothing remotely similar was on their list) so it would have been "appropriate" for them to have waived the fee.

My wife and I had a very nice Valentine's Day date here. We really appreciate how prepared the restaurant seemed with the decorations and strategic seating arrangements by placing the couples in one area and the rest on the other side. It gave it a more romantic vibe. The food was really great. We started with a lemon drop martini and ginger ale for drinks, then bread came and we ordered calamari for appetizer then the seafood spaghetti and filet mignon for main and ended with a perfectly sweet warm chocolate cake with ice cream and white chocolate shavings. Every one of them was really good, and it seemed like others around us really enjoyed their food as well.Riley, our server, was also very attentive. He knew what to recommend and made sure to check in with us when we needed something. We did not feel rushed at all and was just overall an enjoyable and filling experience. We higly recommend this place for a nice romantic date spot.

Great location in downtown Long Beach. Nice, clean area. The restaurant itself was also clean and well-kept. Loved the atmosphere and great for an intimate dining experience. Great service and food and would definitely go back again.

I never leave reviews due to my busy schedule, but I just had to take the time to leave a review. Dinner was wonderful. Service was phenomenal, for it being Valentines Day and very busy not one table was empty. My waiter was on top of things. Not once did we have to wait. I wish I remembered his name. Also the bus boys were on top of things. I'm a foodie and very critical about where I dine. I usually dine out in the OC or Brentwood area due to the ambiance and service. This restaurant is close to home so I thought I would try it out. This restaurant will now be my go too. Love the ambiance, service, food presentation and delicious food.

Celebrated our 33rd Valentine's Day at L'Opera in Long Beach and had a fantastic time. It was our first time trying this restaurant and will definitely be back. It was a bit pricy, but was worth every penny. We split a pasta course, Capellacci Di Zucca, which is homemade ravioli stuffed with butternut squash and ricotta in a spicy marinara and butter sauce, which was absolutely delicious. We followed with Fillet Mignon and Veal chops. Also enjoyed a bottle of Felsina Chianti Classico. Even better than the food was the service! Our main server Josh was a pleasure the entire time and Mark kept our table clean and glasses full. The place was packed which kept both guys hopping but they remained attentive and kept smiling through it all. They made our night very special!
