Came to just put in a TO GO ORDER & man in the front (see picture) told me that I could not place my order , I had to order off UberEats/ door dash and I was STANDING THERE ! I explained to him that that required an high additional fee and he just shrugged his shoulders , I asked to speak to a manager and he said No. A whole group of people walked out with me , I love this food but will never be coming back & I will NEVER RECCOMEND ! TERRIBLE SERVICE !

First time there order the Cajun pasta it wasn’t the greatest no taste and taste like macaroni and cheese sauce and not Alfredo had to ask for seasoning they had no garlic salt smh ne how bbq wing were vary flavor full I might give them another try.Parking: It say 2 dollars ever 2 hours came out before 2 hours up and they charged 10..50 overarated

This is where creole meets the beach. Great music and food. This is truly the NOLA atmosphere. We enjoyed the “back porch” with the view of the Pacific Ocean. The jambalaya was the perfect texture and flavor and a large portion. Not soupy like some others. The catfish with gravy rice was tasty and had leftover. The Ribs were seasoned well with tender meat. The half of rack are meaty ribs. The cocktails ? are mixed well. The staff are helpful. You well need to paid for your food at the time of order. They will not accept cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay nor Android Pay. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated. This restaurant was feature on ABC 7 new as a must visit restaurant.
Ask yourself this, do I want to eat somewhere that the employees do not get raises, after 2 yrs at least, get regular pay on holidays, no breaks for boh employees, and so much more. We're just scratching the surface . Avoid this 2 face fake place. Trust me.

We went in drinks on the patio. The beers were cold and the ice tea was good. But the service was the most bizarre system. It was counter service, but the bus people/food runners were sent by to ask people if they needed anything just to remind them they had to go to the counter. Also they didn't want people to walk back through the restaurant but around to the front door. As a restaurant vet ( 20 years), I have never seen a system so dysfunctional. Also there were signs everywhere about being understaffed, and to be patient ( which I can sympathize with), but there were plenty of staff, all directing you back to the front. I cannot imagine what a busy service would look like. Also, the whole system puts the food runners in a very very awkward situation. I hope those guys get tipped out significantly, if not there are plenty of restaurants in Long Beach ran correctly......That restaurant has a primo location, it's too bad. I will never go back.

First time visiting Louisiana Charlie's in Long Beach we visited around 12:30 p.m. on a Friday it was not crowded. Staff was super friendly. The food came out very fast and piping hot! Waite staff was attentive. The tables and floors were clean. We ordered the half serving Gumbo Fries and an order of Jambalaya and a side of Catfish Filet. The servings were huge! The taste was absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back again. There is ticketed parking and the restaurant does validate. I recommend Louisiana Charlies.?

Visited Louisiana Charlie's while in town. You order before sitting which is no big deal except the people in front of us had no clue what they wanted even though they give you menus before you go in. Food was good, especially if you like spicy. Service was great and staff was friendly. We sat outside and had a nice view of the water.
I order the alligator, which was disgusting. I took one bite and almost vomit. I asked the waiter if I could change my order so she brought me something else. and when I receive my bill, it still had the alligator on there. I asked if she can remove it since I didn’t eat it or like it at all she said they were a small business and they did not refund anything. Next thing I know she called the police telling them I was refusing to pay while she stood over in the corner hiding watching them talk to me. I don’t recommend this business. People shouldn’t have to pay for something that taste disgusting and if you can’t afford to refund something, that’s not right you should not be in business.

You have to wait outside until they call you in. Then you place your order. You have to use a card with a chip in it. After your order is in, you have to seat yourself. The food was okay overall. I had fried chicken that was not hot, tasted like it was cooked in old grease, and was dark in color. The cat fish was good. The gumbo fries were good. They just didn't have the taste of gumbo. There was no music, so the atmosphere was dry.Parking: You must pay for parking but there is validation.
