Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

I ordered the pulled pork sammich with a side of coleslaw. Pork was dry and did not come with Lucille's signature BBQ sauce, I am guessing because they don't have a signature BBQ sauce.
If you have ever eaten at Baby Blues Barbecue, you'll consider not eating at Lucille's. They have house BBQ that will make you want to go back over and over again.
To be honest, I helped open Baby Blues Barbecue on San Vicente and Melrose, and that BBQ restaurant is the shizznizzle!
I wish I had the time to drive to Venice Beach but I didn't have enough time to spend an additional 45 minutes to drive to Baby Blues.
Yeah, as a chef, you have to try the house plate and if that lacks, then everything else will lack flavor. I am not going to try the rest and get super disappointed. Go with what you know. 🤣🤣🤣

If I could leave a no star review I would. I was there last night with my friend, walked in at about 7:30 PM and stood there for 5 minutes without getting seated. I made eye contact with 4 different workers there and none of them said “someone will be right with you”. So I left and went somewhere else because if thats the service I get when I walk into the doors then I can’t imagine the service I would have gotten if I got seated.

Food here is always good but the service the day I went (Sunday) was very very slow. It took me something like 15 minutes to get 1 beer and a cocktail and the bartender wasn't busy at all because I almost always sit in the bar and/or the bar area. Same this day. Service, based on just this day got just 2 stars.

Kid-friendliness: Waitress was very nice. Bartender was SLOW.

Delicious food and great service. We ate on the dog friendly patio and our server made sure our fur baby had water without us asking. We will be back

The food was cold and terrible burnt a little. I won't be eating here again this was the first time here. I usually go to Texas Roadhouse. Best place food nice and hot and not burnt

Terrible yuck the deserts were dried up yuck nothing was good. ???????????????????

They have amazing waitresses that honestly where doing there best. However they have this extremely rude and awful manager that kept coming to our table to unnecessarily argue with us. For example she told us we couldn't have our dog on the booth (after letting us bring them in) and kept repeating herself after we had already put her on floor. Then came back to argue with us again over drinks that we had ordered twice totalling in 4 drinks when we only needed two. Stating that we needed to let our server know and made it seem as if we where incapable of understanding that we ordered extra drinks. When in reality we had already told our server about 30 minutes ago before she came back to our table. It just made us feel as though she had it our for us since the first time she walked up to our table. So embarrassing to be put on the spot like that over and over again. She had on a blue long sleeved shirt with shorter black hair. I don't know what was the issue with her that day but I hope things get better for her cause that was just ridiculous. Made us feel very unwelcome for our first time. Really hoped for a better experience. Do better please.

Ordered for lunch the three meat barbecue combo at $22.99. “The food was great” and “the customer service was exceptional” Dennis the server was so nice, helpful, service oriented, he is a great reflection on Lucille’s smokehouse barbecue restaurant. “Thank you for the great food and service”!

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s only two parking spots for wheelchair accessibility, which was not good because I was not able to find parking which made it difficult to walk to the restaurant due to health issues.

Awesome specialty drinks & wine. Biscuits are good. Service is amazing - fast & super friendly. Wish the ribs were a bit more moist & the vegetables were cooked better. Other than that, we had reservations with little wait. And had a wonderful time!

The food was fantastic! My husband got a new Hatch cheeseburger that he absolutely loved. I got the chimchury steak, which was fantastic. I tried the new watermelon l9ngbisland iced tea and YUMMMM!
My husband was disappointed because the server 9nly brought out 2 biscuitsvand at the same time as our food.
We l9ve dining here, always great food and ambiance!

This Lucille's restaurant has the most tender tri-tip, melts like butter in your mouth.

We waited for almost an hour to be called my son still went inside and asked how much longer it was going to be and their response was just a few minutes, meanwhile we saw others that came after us get seated. This is the second time they do this to me and this time I decided to say something.

The southern greens was really good as well as the beef ribs, the brisket was dry and had no flavor. I was disappointed in the service our lady server only came to our table twice. She was overwhelmed with a big table. I dont think I’ll be returning.

I love Lucille's, and usually get beef ribs. First time at this location and the ribs we a bit charred and didn't have much meat. GF got pork ribs which were excellent. I will stick to the location on Carson as I've never had bad ribs there
