I had been looking forward to eating here for awhile since it's so highly rated, but I was so disappointed. When the best dish at a BBQ place is the chicken, there's something missing...I ordered the Texas Style Brisket, the Tri tip (which was an additional $1 for build your own bbq lunch menu), and the Texas Red Hot Sausage. The brisket and sausage were decent enough, but the Tri Tip was sooo dry that soaking it in the Au jus sauce for minutes at a time didn't help at all. It felt and tasted like rubber. However, all the sides were pretty good, and the service is great! But I wouldn't eat here again for the price and quality of the food. If you do try it though, I'd go for the Alabama chicken, that thing was good.

I ate Lucille's about 10 years ago and did not have a good food experience so I never ate there again until recently.I received 2 gift cards from a family member. Decided to give Lucille's a shot again and decided to get take out. Got the family feast brisket and ribs, family salad, and a bottle of hot spicy BBQ sauce. I ordered it at 4pm for pick up at 5:45pm.I arrived a little late around 5:55pm.The service staff was friendly and attentive. Even double checked my order same saw that I was given the wrong BBQ sauce and replaced it with the correct one.I arrived home and the first thing I opened was the ribs and brisket container. The food was warm at best. Ribs were okay. Didn't have much seasoning but had a good bark and smokiness to it. The brisket on the other hand was hands down terrible. Dry slabs of meat. No moisture at all. No smoke ring. Just grey meat through and through. That told that 3 of these reasons must have happened.1. They either held it for too long in a dry hot box with no moisture settings and did not time their BBQ correctly to be pulled out of the smoker so that there will be a fresh rotation of meats through out eat quarter of the day.2. They over cooked the meat and decided to still serve it.3. They reheated left over BBQ from the day before and did it in a way where it overcooked the meat. The sides were good though and so was their family salad with my choice of tomato vinaigrette and Italian dressing. Biscuits were dry, very disappointing.Overall, this take out experience confirmed my decision to never go to Lucille's again. I've had take out BBQ before that floored me how good it still was 30 minutes after leaving the shop.I honestly thought Lucille's would have stepped up their game by now. The food is always the center of attention. Service is always dwarfed by food quality in my opinion and Lucille's did not deliver on that this time around.

Service was outstanding! My friends got a high top for happy hour...but didnt realize I was bringing my mom who can't sit at a high top. The server must have overheard us and sat us at regular table near by. He was quick, funny and so nice. My friends always tell me how great Lucilles happy hour is but after our experience, it may be my favorite!Great place to hang out before a movie. Ample parking. Food and drinks ? but the service? Chefs kiss!

My waitress Karen was awesome. She was patient, attentive, and made us feel welcomed. I have been to this Lucille's and others more than 6 dozen times, but this is the first time I was left with a great impression which warranted a review. Thanks Karen!

This place is worth every cent. If you love southern barbecue. They have delicious entrees and a good selection of beer. They have a wonderful outdoor patio that is very refreshing and private. And like always they bring out that whipped butter and those fancy tasty biscuits. How a huge fan of the barbecue chicken.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility.

I have been to many Lucille's. I would not recommend this one. Bar is a nice restaurant is empty. I am very disappointed in food, not typical or close to the quality. Ribs came out very dry, almost like beef jerky. They wait was good and brought a second rack. Ordered the Baby Back ribs and Saint Louis style. It took 30 plus minutes to get the over cooked baby back, and the Saint Louis came 5 plus minutes later. The replacement ribs came 10 minutes after returning old dry ribs. They were better but not the quality had in the past. Why did food come out separate. Fries were absolutely inedible, not fresh at all, with no bacon in mac and cheese. Still charged for upgrade. Recomend the Lucille's at town center of Carson&605.Feel bad for wait staff.
