Our family went on June 11th after graduation. We expected it to be busy. We expected service to be slow. But we didn’t expect our food to be terrible.
My son’s brisket was all fat. There was maybe two bites of meat in the serving. While brisket may be quite fatty- this was nothing but fat. I asked if they could replace it and the waitress agreed it was all fat and said no problem. But when they returned the platter they had left the same two sides of French fries so now the fries are cold. Our drinks didn’t arrive till after our food. We asked for water and didn’t get it even though we reminded the server twice. One person in our party placed an order to go and asked for it on a separate check and it was included in our bill. Portions of meat were considerably smaller than they had been on previous visits. The greens were not washed well so they were gritty and a bit too earthy. The Mac n cheese was over cooked noodles that were the texture of baby food. Even my baked potato was disappointing- hard on the inside and shriveled on the outside like it was half cooked and left in the warming drawer all day- I mean it’s hard to mess up a baked potato. Bottom line, I won’t be back soon. That makes me sad since it is one of the nicer places to eat in the town center.
Everything was perfect 👌
The food and the service
Food is not NOT what it used to be. The service was amazing but the food. Should have just had biscuits n drinks.
Everything about our meal was great. We don't live in the area but when we visit we enjoy visiting this resturant. Highly recommended. Our kids love it.
We went there for Father's Day. Very crowded! We're seated in 5 minutes. Our service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I will never hesitate to go to Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ!
Had a great time for Father’s Day with my wife and 2 year old daughter. Since I hadn’t eaten all day and also haven’t been to Lucille’s in over 7 years I was picky about which location to visit. After doing some research, I skipped a Lucille’s 5 minutes away from my house and two other locations on a hunch that this one would be better. We came 45 minutes before closing yet the vibe here was still great from the second the waitress greeted us. We shared a 3 item combo: brisket, baby back ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, with potato salad and mac and cheese. We also shared a cobbler with ice cream dessert. Total was $63. It was the perfect size for all of us. It’s so hard to find a good restaurant nowadays. We are not BBQ experts but this was one of the best meals we’ve had in a while!
I love their kids plate! It's the perfect size for small proportion eaters like me! Their banana putting is so good!

Bought 3 meats combo, I was disappointed with the beef ribs, there wasn't much meat, some were mostly bone and I paid extra for the beef. Will not buy again
Great service , very friendly, and the food is delicious . I come here all the time.

My visit was horrible the waitress didn’t check on us when we checked in the service was poor. The manager was pretty nice, but the service was horrible. I ordered the green fried tomatoes. She forgot I had them never bring them to the table. I was asking how the fried chicken was she wouldn’t even help me decide I would never visit the Lucille’s in the Long Beach town Center off of Carson again

This place makes my soul come alive and everything they serve I could eat morning noon and night,24/365 with no complaints.
Kid-friendliness: They are allowed but couldn't you get a sitter?

The food is just not good anymore. The ribs are smother with bbq sauce but just about all bone and no meat. The vegetables were hard, not cooked. I used the restroom and between the restroom and the cooking area it smelled like sewer. I definitely crossed Lucille's as a restaurant I'm never going to again. My date and I were very displeased.
