The food is high quality.

Really good cocktails but could use a few more food items on the menu especially some vegan options.

Unless you stop for drinks, I'd pass this place up for food.It was gross. I ordered some crunchy civiche. I had no idea what it was but the waiter suggested it. I think it was deep fried rice mixed with deep fried scallops. It was saturated in oil and just gross. Won't ever go back. I don't quite get the food or menu options and it was too pricey for the quality. Not worth it, which is too bad because it's a great location and has a nice appeal.

This place opened at the beginning of the pandemic and I've been waiting to checking it out. So today was the day. I ordered the La Conejita cocktail, a bourbon and carrot juice drink. I was really surprised by how good it tasted. For dinner, I ordered the seared diver scallops. I was a little disappointed in the size of the scallops. It looked like they sliced a regular scallop into three slices so they were really thin. But the sauce was savory with a bit of a kick. I also ordered corn tortillas, which are hand made and delicious, not knowing they were an extra charge. At least the bartender was very cordial.

Parking: There is a parking structure adjacent to the business with free 2 hour parking.

Ben was our waiter and he was a very nice guy, we chatted with him for a few minutes. Would recommend checking out their $2 oyster happy hour deal.

My husband and I went there for dinner last night. The food was amazing. We ordered the whole fish, grilled oysters, shrimp agua chili and crispy rice ceviche. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was also great. I highly recommend this place to all seafood lovers.

Food is so amazing. The pork shank literally fell off the bone. The guac was delicious. Loved my experience here. Worth every penny.

Relaxed space with good food. I had my first Oyster here along with Chilaquiles and some Guacamole. Giving 4/5 stars because there was no indication the Tostada(Shrimp) had Habanero Pepper.

Very good spot for Mexican food with an abundance of seafood options. Craft cocktails are legit too. Had a carrot juice old fashioned that actually hit the spot. The service was excellent. My peeps had questions about food allergies and the servers knew which dishes were appropriate or not. When they weren't sure, they would check with the kitchen That may not seem like a big deal, but it is to people with food allergies.Because navy traditional Mexican dishes are slow cooked, there weren't many options to modify things to our preference. Other than that, Lupe's is the place to be.

The atmosphere in here is amazing. The bartender knows how to make some amazing drinks. I was thoroughly impressed with the service from Mitch. He gave great suggestions for food and we didn’t feel rushed.

Something very special about this place. For one it's such a clean environment. 2 the food is hands down just amazing. Great presentation and the taste was just as superb. If I lived in long beach this would be my goto spot even thought it's a but on the pricey end. None the less you just won't be disappointed.

Amazing food at an accidental find! We had reservations at Amotoli, but on arrival the hostess was so confused and irresponsible that we decided to leave. I had walked passed Lupe and liked their outdoor patio.Well long story short they were able to accommodate us. The server, i think Sandra, was so polite! She helped us order and was so sweet and able to make some changes to the dishes. Overall it was a great experience, one that i can say evokes happy!

I visited Lupe's on a Wednesday at about 5pm for the purpose of enjoying happy hour delicacies and deals. What had intrigued me the most was the advertisement for 1.50$ oysters. I thought the price sounded too good to be true for any kind of decent oysters. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were very fresh, creamy, with a great sea flavor. We had first ordered 6 oysters to test the waters and were so happy, we immediately ordered an additional dozen. There was a bit of shells, which is normal regardless of cost. They were served with horse radish, lemon, vinegar, and cocktail sauce (i think, i like vinegar only). We also ordered some happy hour margaritas for 10$. They were also good.We sat at the bar and the service was great. As it cooled off they closed the windows somewhat at our encouragement which was much more warm and comfortable. The ambience is really nice too, very well manicured interior. It was a great happy hour date.

Awesome find! Everything we ordered was soooo good. Really eclectic mexican food. Got the guac, oysters, salmon, ahi tostada, mushrooms, and the pork. Drinks and service were great as well. A bit on the expensive side but worth the culinary experience. Compliments to the chef!!
