Really good cocktails but could use a few more food items on the menu especially some vegan options.

Happy hour spicy margaritas and oysters are enough to make me visit this establishment whenever I can.

I usually go to Lupe's for their Oyster Happy Hour but decided to stop by this time for some drinks and an appetizer. I got the guacamole and o m g. I'm a little picky when it comes to my guac but this one truly changed my life. It was so flavorful and the portions were pretty good considering its price point! The small was enough to share between three people. Definitely coming back just for the guac!

Andrea was absolutely the best server last night, for a private event. I was chosen as finalist for downtown Long Beach unfiltered photography contest. First time at Lupe's will definitely not be my last time the appetizers were amazing. I love the ambience of the restaurant especially the patio area. It was a perfect evening the weather was great. Will definitely return very soon. #thankyouthursday

A seafood-forward Mexican cuisine located in the heart of Long Beach, conveniently next to the Harvey Milk parking structure for ease. All our food was delicious, and we relied heavily on the waiter recommendations for the best apps! Lupes is modern chic with both indoor and covered outdoor dining, connected by an open concept and lovely bar in between. The wait staff was attentive and friendly throughout. We had the Honey Don't, Mexican Boilmaker,Pina Maria , Fish tacos , Bone Marrow Camote Happy Hour Oysters, Oyster Rockafeller, and Roasted Cauliflower.

We luckily stumbled upon this place after our first two places were a fail. This was definitely a spot you don't want to miss. We were seated right away for a Friday 10/28 evening which was great because it started to pick up right after. Our waitress (totally forgot her name, Hispanic woman with glasses) recommended a few dishes like the POTATO CROQUETTES, CRISPY RICE CEVICHE, and OYSTERS, they did not disappoint at all!! They were all so delicious, the crispy rice ceviche was something very different and it was just absolutely divine. We finished off with the WOOD ROASTED WHOLE FISH and it was just absolutely delicious! It got a bit messy because of the skin but the fact it was bone out was also the cherry on top! 5 stars for FRESH seafood and a fantastic chef! We would definitely drive back to Long Beach from LA just to go back and try more options here! Definitely a spot to check out! Have Fun and Good Luck!

Been a few times and have always left in great spirits. I've gotten their crudo a few times and some of the tostadas--highly recommend. Don't recall the name, but they had a honeydew drink that was delicious! Great place for a date with its hybrid outdoor layout.

Unless you stop for drinks, I'd pass this place up for food.It was gross. I ordered some crunchy civiche. I had no idea what it was but the waiter suggested it. I think it was deep fried rice mixed with deep fried scallops. It was saturated in oil and just gross. Won't ever go back. I don't quite get the food or menu options and it was too pricey for the quality. Not worth it, which is too bad because it's a great location and has a nice appeal.

This place opened at the beginning of the pandemic and I've been waiting to checking it out. So today was the day. I ordered the La Conejita cocktail, a bourbon and carrot juice drink. I was really surprised by how good it tasted. For dinner, I ordered the seared diver scallops. I was a little disappointed in the size of the scallops. It looked like they sliced a regular scallop into three slices so they were really thin. But the sauce was savory with a bit of a kick. I also ordered corn tortillas, which are hand made and delicious, not knowing they were an extra charge. At least the bartender was very cordial.Parking: There is a parking structure adjacent to the business with free 2 hour parking.

Made reservations for a table of 4 for Saturday night, which was easy to do through their website. Was expecting it to be busier that evening. I'm giving this a 3.5 star experience. Service was good- our waitress that helped us was sweet. Got coldness from others there- they seemed to be annoyed to be there. We ordered 2 dozen oysters, they were okay. The Crudo Scallop appetizer- it was somehow very fishy, needed a little more kick to it. Ordered the whole fish, which was probably the best thing on the menu. My friends ordered the prawns and mussels and clams- it was a bit over cooked and on the salty side. One of my favorite was the Aperol Splitz! Please don't take that off the menu! I'd actually go back and order a couple of more of those!

Amazing restaurant in Long Beach!! My coworkers and I were planning to go to another restaurant across the street for dinner until we realized that place when closed, then we saw this establishment. I'll tell you what... I'm so glad it worked out that way!! The food was INCREDIBLE! We were all in awe of how good our food and drinks were. The cocktails were perfectly crafted and so unique. Each of us agreed we have to come back before we leave. Sadly we are not local and just in town for a work trip. I tried: -La conejita cocktail - bourbon, fresh carrot juice, yuzu liqueur, ginger honey -Seared diver scallops - sweet corn purée, roasted corn and fajita veg -Guacamole The cocktail sounded odd but was so delicious and refreshing!! The mix with carrot juice was phenomenal! The scallops and guacamole had a bit of a kick to them. The guac had this spicy oil at the bottom and the scallops were mixed with jalapeño... it was fantastic! I'm not into super spicy things so it was Just the right amount of kick to keep me coming back for more. I devoured everything so quickly, and so did my coworkers. I will definitely come back!

Ben was our waiter and he was a very nice guy, we chatted with him for a few minutes. Would recommend checking out their $2 oyster happy hour deal.

Came here with a girlfriend for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated right away, the inside was pretty empty. The server greeted us and got our drinks working right away which was awesome! I had the La Conejita drink from the bar. It was so good that I had two! For food I got the pescado tacos, also good but very salty. All in all a great experience! Definitely want to come back (for that drink lol)!

My husband and I went there for dinner last night. The food was amazing. We ordered the whole fish, grilled oysters, shrimp agua chili and crispy rice ceviche. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was also great. I highly recommend this place to all seafood lovers.
