I wanted this place to be great but it fell short of flavor. The value combo was a good deal, that was probably the best part, not spending too much and not feeling too sad when tossed the rest.The dumplings barely had any flavor (tried the og and the vintage) they both tasted exactly the same. The dumplikgs needed a dipping sauce, and yet the one provided underwhelming as was the chili sauce. The rice was very soft and mushy like as if it was over cooked or over watered. The bulgogi was tough like beef jerky. The fries rice was missing the mushrooms and although it was yellowish in color there didn't seem to have any eggs in it? From this experience I wouldn't go back or recommend this spot.

We got the bulgogi fried rice bowl-- everything was burnt and swimming in oil, and COVERED in sauce. Their "veggie" fried rice had LITERALLY 2 see-through slivers of a mushroom, and a pinch of a single cabbage leaf. How is that veggie???Update: definitely made us sick. Steer clear

Stopped by this place tonight and ordered a combo, bulgogi fried rice with dumplings and it was flavorless unfortunately but I was starving so I ate most of it but I was disappointed cause it looked really good. I would've liked it better if the dumplings weren't so thick on the outside and had more flavor in the meat, the rice was lacking flavor and so was the bulgogi which was a tougher texture.

What an unexpected suprise! I wasn't in the area to try this place. Was shopping after work at Target, saw this place on my way out and thought I'd stop in and get a dozen or so to go. Place was not crowded so I placed my order quick. Just got me the plain old pork (OG) dumplings pan fried of course. Didn't take long, and was on my way home. My drive is a bit long, I work in Long Beach and live in Mission Viejo, so to say the least, the smell of this dumplings killed me, I mean that in a good way. Reached in the bag, opened up the to go container and started eating em while diving home in traffic. Yeah I know it's a no no, but couldn't wait. Dumplings were fresh, fat and flavorful! Yeah, I'm a pig and ate em all on my way home. No sauce even needed! They were super moist, cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back for more!!

It was good. I ordered my meal to-go, which is why it came in plastic packaging and looking okay. The food was delicious and filling, but halfway through the meal I got full, and the sauce was looking less appetizing. I had to finish it later.The service was amazing, since the server gave me some sort of discount on my meal. Okay! The ambiance was fine. As I recall, there is not a lot of indoor seating (but some outdoor) so all of the tables were taken up, with some customers having to stand to wait for their meals. I'd say that for the size, the ambiance was perfect.

Dumplings are so good. Also don't sleep on the fried rice. Everyone is super helpful and always willing to explain the flavors and offer suggestions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal.Only note is to bring back the Mac & Cheese dumplings!

We came here a few times to try their dumplings but what we liked the most was the fried rice with pork. My daughter loves it too!Service was okay, you order on a machine (nobody was around) and then someone brings you the order when it's ready.They have some tables inside as well as some outside tables. It can get pricey depending on what you order but it's a nice treat to have once in a while!

I really like this place! It’s around 5 minutes from CSULB and the quality is super good. The girl up front was super nice and I liked how there was a self-ordering kiosk. It’s a really chill environment. Now, onto the food. I’ve previously tried the Irvine location, so am not completely new to the concept. However, this was my first time trying the “hottie” dumplings. I am ashamed to admit that I love them. I know my arteries won’t be too happy, but they are SO good! They are ridiculously crunchy and have a good spice to them. The spice they put on top is a bit bitter, but it still tastes amazing. They’re not bland at all and are actually very filling. I did notice that they’re bigger than the regular dumplings, too. I got the mix & match and the other one I chose was the Longanisa. That one was really good, as well, albeit not spicy to me. The filling in that one kinda reminded me of a hot dog (it’s not btw). It was pretty interesting. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place. They had my order out super fast, too!! :D

Saw Mad Dumplings on the food network and finally made my way over to give it a try. Absolutely loved the food. Had the longanisa dumpling, The OG dumplings, and the fried chicken. Highly recommend! Will be trying the other dishes next time. Had a wonderful experience there. The food and service was great!
