Got the chicken pho takeout from here. It was terrible. The broth and the meat was stale, the noodles were undercooked. I had to through the meal away which is terrible since I hate food wastage but I just couldn't eat it :/

Gosh, I so wanted to love it. We've traveled in Vietnam, and we have several go-to places in Westminster, but Mangosteen had good reviews and is more convenient. So, I picked up the phone and placed my order. The person who took it was lovely. I believe his name was "Ben". We exchanged pleasantries during the exchange. He guaranteed I'd love my food... The food smelled absolutely delicious in the car ride home, and it took substantial restraint to not sneak a taste: 1 vegan bahn mi, 2 veggie phos, and an order of spring rolls. The bahn mi vegan "meat" was good. But, as my husband pointed out, the bread was not fresh. And the rest of the sandwich was nothing memorable. Now, he's comparing this sandwich to the shop in Hoi-An that Bourdain claims has the best bahn mi in the world. But even I thought the bread was stale, so much so that I just scraped off the rest and ate it like a salad. The veggie rolls were good, but one of them apparently burst in the tray. So, rather than have a roll, I had another salad. Maybe I should have just ordered a salad?? lol. And as for the pho, the broth smelled great but the flavor stopped short. I did appreciate, however, that it was not as salty as most pho out there.

The pho is delicious here. I had chicken, vegetable and beef. They were delicious. They come in large containers that are really enough for two servings. Definitely will be back.

Edit: 2 years later I still eat here, the experience, the food, and everything are still just as spectacular. They also added a location in Belmont shore!I’m a regular here. I’m a foodie, and I love the fresh ingredients served by a kind and loving owner.Exceptional food and a “Mom and Pop” store. You can’t lose here.Pho, sandwiches, and their Vietnamese egg rolls... oh man... I’m glad I’m eating it right now or I’d have to go get some.

This place is small but their plates are mighty. There was one one person working the floor when we got there and he was super nice to us, even though it was like 30 minutes to closing. He Sat us and even recommended a few things off the menu. We got our drinks super quick and they were delicious (our kids ordered the smoothies with boba) as well as our chicken wing & Salmon spring rolls appetizers. I know that I'm use to shrimp spring rolls but these things were amazing and the sauce had just a little kick of spicy too. It paired well together. The wings were equally as delicious. The pho was great but my husbands dish had me wishing I had ordered that too. All in all this place was a delight and I'm so very happy with our dining experience. Hope to make this place a regular stop when we're in town.

We ordered the vegan citrus pork Bahn MI and a bowl of veggie Pho and it was delicious! The sandwich was very flavorful and the bread was toasted perfectly. The Pho has lots of fresh veggies and the veggie broth was outstanding! I will be back!

Not bad, but I like jalapeño and cilantro in my banh mi so I was a little underwhelmed when I saw lettuce and carrots, not what I'm used to.

Accidentally ordered from the wrong location online. They were able to remake it at the Long Beach! And were super friendly, thanks guys!

Not my first time but definitely my last. 1st time - I placed an online order ready in 15 min. I show up in 20, and they missed my order even though it wasn't even busy! I decided to give it another try because, I get it, people miss things, the food was mediocre but its hard to find Vietnamese food in Long Beach. (Pro Tip 123 Pho is great with service and the pho is great.... not sure why I ever betrayed them.) 2nd time - I called to place my order just to be sure they got it. Order was to be ready in 20 min. I get there in 30 min. They were still working on my order, so I asked to pay ahead because I have a meeting to run to. Paid, waiting another 5 min... got half my order... Waiting for my spring rolls and see the cook grilling things which was odd to me, waited another 5 min and still nothing... (no one was before me, no one was after me... not sure what he is grilling for a spring roll). Then I ask how much longer because I need to leave in 2 mins to make my meeting. I get no response and see the cook run to get the rice paper and I said "if you are just starting now can you just cancel my order and refund me?" response "we are making it now" and I said "cancel it" and basically we went back and forth with me asking them to cancel it - and them saying they were making it... I finally got my order and was late to my meeting even though I gave it a 20 minute buffer in case something like this happened. They also didn't give me fish sauce for my vermicelli bowl even though I got that 10 min before the spring rolls. I'm pretty easy going, if you give me a time I will still give you extra time because things happen. But they doubled the time BOTH times! And instead of doing what I asked they did the opposite. AND I GOT MEDIOCRE FOOD!

Food is is slightly more expensive compared to the usual prices in Westminster or Garden Grove but that is to be expected when you're in Belmont Shore. The food is good and has a variety of different things other than banh mi, they have rice plates, vermicelli bowls and even pho, what I really liked more than anything is the service, the guy there is very nice and extra attentive.

$92.61 for burned Vietnamese food and a wait that took longer than 45 minutes. If you're understaffed you need to let your customers know. The food flavor is good except for my burnt egg rolls and chicken. When I called the guy who answered was very rude and not accommodating. Horrible experience. Sadly we relied on the Yelp reviews staying at the Hilton close by. I'd like a partial refund on my food this is ridiculous. I will be reporting your restaurant to the BBB.

I go here for the vegan spring rolls Fresh and good flavor. Glad the cook suggested mixing chili into the peanut sauce. Little dark in there cause of covid but got good vibes
