Worst Tamales I have ever tried. Over priced and they lack significant flavor and the wrapping is damn annoying for a small portion of food and the tamales are 90% masa and 10 percent cheese or meat. Honestly disappointed.

I tried Marilu's bakery many simply because of the tamales. I prefer the Guatemalan, as they are wrapped in banana leaf and the dough is very soft as opposed to the Mexican style tamales. I remember trying them years back and they were better. They are up to $4 and it was all masa. I kept hoping there would be more chicken as was opening the wrap. The amount of chicken of the tamale was minimal. For the price point, I was expecting more chicken.The staff is friendly and there is seating inside the bakery if you want to grab some food and it it there.

The best Torta I ever had, chicken with jalapeños! This is a must try and Also the coffee with Creamer yummy yummy! Highly recommend it, if you are in the area stop by and try the tamales, Pastries! Lovely smiles and great service

The bread is getting stale in some parts, and the champurado feels water down. It's not as thick as how I'm used to drinking it. Reason I give it a 3 is that the staff is friendly and polite.
