Great place to stop while in the area. Service was good. We started off with apprtizers and drinks. They had the red Italian beer on their menu, which is one of my favs. We had several menu items, including one of the daily specials (a pasta and lobster dish), lasagna, and cannolis for dessert. All of the items were super tasty. The chili infused oil was really good on the appetizer. The sauces were truly unique in a good way. The cannolis had pieces of what tasted like candied orange in them which was an unexpected treat. Topped off with a cappucino. Pleasant dining experience for a quiet Sunday afternoon on their patio except for the rowdy crowd at the hot dog place next door.

Not only was the food amazing, but they were incredible accommodating us last minute on a busy night.We had a toddler with us and they made sure to get our order quickly, and put together some tables in a quiet area. Sometimes folks just get it, and it allowed us to have a great time and a great meal. Will be going back 100%

Went here wanting to have dinner after the Grand Prix and we got sat down right away. Amazing service by Daniel and I loved my chicken parmigiana with a side of pasta. The ambiance, atmosphere, and setting made our Sunday night dinner such a great time. Big shoutout to all of the staff at Michael’s Downtown in Long Beach. I will definitely be back.

Never seen “shrinkage” as severe as this place decided to do. Already continually shrinking on their quality of service over the years, they’ve now decided to turn their regular Neapolitan style pizza into a teeny tiny personal pizza, yet still charge what they did before. It’s probably 1/3 of the original pizza if you’re wondering. This place just keeps getting worse, just take the drive to the Belmont Shore location where they don’t keep cutting corners on service and quality.
Visited with a friend, and, overall, enjoyed our experience. The food was good, but the service was slow and inattentive for an upscale establishment. The lasagna was the stand-out dish - the meat was extremely flavorful, lots of cheese, and the pasta was fresh. There was tons of sauce - it was served in a deep-disk skillet - that was also flavorful. They have a great little bar with a fireplace in the center, which would be wonderful on a chilly evening. The calamari was fresh, but just a bit greasy. I'm sure we'll visit again.
